Joe, another great video. Scanned through the comments and so many of us have similar situations/motivations. I found your channel way back when looking at my late father's Bulova. It's a late 50s/early 60s model and hasn't worked since the late 70s. I know I could never repair it myself but was interested in seeing what was involved, and after a couple of videos, I worry about bringing it to a place that can actually get it back in working order. That was around 3 years ago. Boy has your channel grown. Closing in on 300K. Congratulations! It's easy to see from the comments why this is, but just let me add that I also like the background you give about the history of the watch or company. Your relaxed and positive attitude defintely are a soothing balm to people's rough days. Keep it up, Joe.

I only have minimal/basic repair kit .. No polishers, No Cleaning devices, No watch-accuracy measuring device. I love watching your videos NW & seeing the care you take restoring these magic instruments towards their original glory. I have a tinker on occasion with my kit, but I'm now thinking about investing a liitle more, prompted by your invitation. I gauge that a cleaning device is probably the 1st piece of capital outlay to take me to the next level, but I'm not quite ready. Think I might need to budget some time & money before I take the leap. Baby steps, but thanks for pointing the way .. ⌚🐏

I just inherited a Rotary 17 jewel with a date complication Schild hand wind movement. I have just had the cracked hesalite crystal replaced with a clean ,lubricate and adjust service. I love tha gold plated cushion case. My favourite daily wearer. Cant beat a Swiss watch with history.
