I am always amazed at the detailing on the inside of a watch like this. The only people that will typically see this craftsmanship are the manufacturers and the restorers. It’s like they are having their own little communication among each group.

Ah, but so many watches become more than just stuff. I have an Edox Kingstar from 1968 which I bought when an apprentice. I have a Keora watch that was my dad's back in the fifties. I have a Tissot my wife bought me from a garage sale that is engraved on the back dating it to 1977. Would be just stuff to others, but certainly not to me. It is attachments like this that makes the work of Nekkid so important

Like the stoooopid chainsaw I rented on my birthday that defeated me. I also had to throw a tantrum and rapidly unschedule-dly disassembly my face mask and ear protection by casting them against the concrete pad. That was my storm. I recovered and made up for it the next day by installing the glass on a small sandblaster. Very difficult. There I won, the storm lost.

Racism is only anti one race of people if you believe that your race is superior to that race, is a white board marker Racist or a black coffee Racist? We all know what happened in Germany between 1939-1945..... is Baa Baa Black Sheep a Racist Nursery Rhyme? There's truth, facts and common sense and what about Ring-a-ring-a-rosies, A pocket full of posies, A tissue, a tissue, We all fall down… it's about the Bubonic Plague! Should we stop singing it after the global Pandemic? As for Eeny Meeny Miny MO, it's also sung to children in Zimbabwe as Eena, meena, ming, mong, Ting, tay, tong, Ooza, vooza, voka, tooza, Vis, vos, vay. Would this be classed as Racist? If a Black African Mother sung this Nursery Rhyme to her child? Looking for Racism where it doesn't exist ruins Values and Culture!

Really great restoration on a lovely IWC, your fix was just fine especially if you can't find a part, fixing watches is a joy i love it, just fixed a seiko nh 3 series hair spring that i mangled when i first started a few years ago, fitted a new one on another i made a little jig to push the stud so it wouldn't move with my riveting block and 2 metal pins works fine alot of adjustment though the spring was sticking up on one side so i had to remove it, it's working great today about +1 hope it stays there. Thank you for another of your excellent video's you are fun, ta mate.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful timepieces. Demonstrates perfectly how a simple rather plain item can be so beguiling.

Well done man! I just took a small foray into watch repair... you make it look so easy. I did manage to get it back together and working. That watch is a beauty. I like how its 80 years old yet with that large face it could have been made today.

What a wonderful, absolutely beautiful thing and what a fantastic outcome! ... What I wonder is, why they made some of the parts that tiny when other ones are that massive (and thus heavy) anyway?

I'm curios, over the years how much time have you spent on our hands and knees looking for screws you've dropped? Regardless I love the channel. It's so relaxing.
