The reason why most live streams and videos posted by content farms feature so many views yet so less engagement is because most videos are filled with tags and keywords so the videos can show up on KZbin Kids, and as we all know, KZbin Kids videos do not have an option to comment for safety purposes. One of the things that bugs me the most about this whole trend is how its taken characters who were not meant for young kids, and due to consistently using them over and over again they get slapped with a "for kids" lable Like for example, Siren Head a few years ago and Amazing Digital Cirus now (yes the show is colorful and all but it deals with things like existential horror and the slow spiral into madness as characters get pushed to their mental breaking point trapped in a place they can't escape from) The creators of both medias (Trevor Henderson and Gooseworx) have even stressed their dislike of these videos with Gooseworx straight up saying they HATE the people responsible for channels like Pomni-Minecraft So sandwiched between destroying a once fun and nostalgic old animation series and exposing kids to nsfw content, they could also be potentially encouraging kids to go looking for the source material which is not suitable for them and clueless parents who don't take the five seconds to watch their kids online activity let alone the age rating of things they want to see will just let it happen

YT policies basically forbid "Adult horror characters in children's media," and while I don't think it'd be 100% enforced with the possible lost income via demonetization, maybe it has been to an extent. I don't think I've really seen characters like Monika or Hero in these commentary videos about showing us the depths and depravity of Monster School videos. I'm pretty sure brainrot KZbin channels livestream because red and pink are colors that are "friendly". And well... there's a red circle around a channel when it's livestreaming. Plus, on iPads, if a child clicks on the channel pfp, instead of taking the child to the homepage of the channel, it would take them to the live video. Then they get into a trance once the video plays, so the child probably won't click off. Plus, livestreaming is an "interactive" thing, so the channel or the livestream gets recommended to more people. Hope this helped 😁

About the Livestream thing: if you make a video with 5hrs of runtime, less people are going to watch to the end, or even 1/4 of it. Livestreams are much harder to gauge the length of since it only ends when the streamer stops the stream, and the children that view this content might not recognize that a clip was replayed or the stream is one big compilation of these animations put on loop, meaning they would get more watch time. Don't know if that's how it works, but that's just a theory. Also, little kids who have their parents credit card could propibly superchat like, 500$ at a time.
