I FOUND A "Lamborghini" Countach ABANDONED In A Storage Unit

A friend of mine sent me a picture of a Lamborghini Countach in a garage, said it was abandoned here and they could use some help getting in it and figuring out what the VIN is. I jumped in the truck and headed across town to the car immediately, hoping we'd be pulling out a quarter million dollar car that I could make a deal on. Unfortunately the second I got to the car it was obvious it was a kit built on a Pontiac Fiero, but it was nearly impossible to get into. With a dead battery, no remote trunk release, and no door handles we still couldn't get into the car or find a VIN.

As a tow driver/operator at several stages in my lifetime...I applaud that company and their professional rig, including the cheapest yet the most widely used piece of equipment a tow truck needs (even wheel lift trucks) and that is WOOD. 2x4, 4x4 and 2x6 small/med/long lengths should be on your trucks at any time. Mix and match, but that flatbed should have 4-8 various length and dimension pieces of wood in their boxes. Great job. The Fakebo Countiac was actually not bad....it wasn't too cheaply made and it wasn't that crappy yellow or red people like to use.

I don't know why, but my first thought, was that 100% jake needs this to go in his fleet, because he already has the pt cruiser with the crazy kit added to it, and then the honda old school electric. car. with his battery transfusion, add this fiero, and he's got a unique fleet. Jake would actually have a small dealership when you add the ranger, bmw's, the miata, all the electric bike's he's been building, the broke down goldwing and ducati, plus i think he has some other rides parked over there. Jake is also the perfect height for the fiero, and probably wouldn't crack his head on the roof. Gotta get jake an inside bid on that fiero. You never know what you're gonna find in a storage unit lol. G-d bless from michigan.

I have a Northstar-swapped Fiero. I got it that way, not my idea, but so ridiculous that I had to have it. I ended up making a trade deal for it, so I own it for almost nothing. It's an absolute ripper. I've been looking for a Lambo or Ferrari kit for it since I got it (or even an entire kit car) and can't find one anywhere that isn't >$20K. This one that you found is ultra rad. I just hope to stumble across one like you did.

I realize it would be a money pit, and not likely to flip for the money put into it, but it sure would be interesting to see a FWD LS 5.3 swap into that. Maybe learn up if a DFM delete works on those weird FWD v8's and then drive it a bit to see if that car could be kept cool.

Always fascinated by these knock off cars. Fierros and MR2s seem to be the car of choice that get modified. The owner who made the knock off really put a lot into it. It would be interesting to see when it was made. The fact that the original VIN was taken off either meant that the modifications on the car were so significant that it was covered or the section that had it was cut out and/or the car had an interesting history. Do you know what year the kit was built because it looked like someone spent a lot of money and/or time and effort on it. Is there any idea when it was originally built as a Fierro?

Judging from the dash it's an 86-87 Fiero, could be a GT or a 2m6 coupe. 88s have dot matrix covers and 84-85 cars had different styling on the gage face and no "pod" above the center stack. Also 84-85 cars had speakers in the seat headrests while 86-88 cars had 4x6 speakers in the side door panels instead. I've had a handful of these cars, wild what little things you remember.

Back in the 80's I had a Fiero. I wanted to do the Testarossa body kit. That was right at the time that Ferrari sued to put a stop to the kit maker. Along with the kit I was going to put in the 3.8L supercharged engine. Oh well. Memories.

Ahh, the Countach. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so I had a 1989 LP5000S Quattrovalvole on my wall, I had a Countach RC car, and I still want one SO badly!

Remove the the dash cluster and there should be a VIN underneath it on the rail. Looks like it's a Mirage kit, they had 2 versions K & S. One was a proper stretched version, the other fits the stock Fiero frame.

This is a solid content generator for you if you can get is at a decent price, you can fix it, make a collaboration video with Tyler and do comparisons with the real countach, film them side by side, dimensions, weight, etc, 0-60 drag race, you can do so much stuff with it, even ls swap it, who knows

My dad had a 1984 Pontiac 6000 STE and it was such a pile of junk. Every time it was in the dealer for repairs they gave him a red 1984 Fiero as a loaner. I put quite a few miles on it. I raced it against my 1984 Rabbit GTI and smoked it. A friend of mine had a Fiero GT V6 in college. He couldn't keep a clutch in it and it eventually caught fire and burned to the ground.

It was baked in from the design room. All the exterior panels can be unbolted and the car still drives. It's light weight, well balanced and shares cheap suspension parts with the Chevette.

I was at a carshow a few years back and one of these Fiero/Lambo things pulled up. I talked to the owner, and asked if it still had the 2.8L in it. Dude got super upset, and yelled "Its got a v12, you should keep your mouth shut if you dont know what you're talking about!" He probably should have kept HIS mouth shut, because there were about 5 Hurracans and an Aventador at this show and all the owners came over to check out this dudes "Countach". They started off polite, but this guy was just being an idiot and ended up getting kicked out. Me and my buddy i came with thought it was hilarious, mostly because my buddy drove us there in his 87 Fiero GT
