I am also in remission (Stage 4 lymphoma) and live near Houston. MD Anderson is an awesome hospital. But, there are so many patients there! You are right you have to be your own advocate!

Greetings , from Maryland . This is my first time watching your video. Thank Go d all is well . I have 2 lipoma’s one on my upper back and 1 in my lower right side. About 10 years ago i had surgery on my back to remove it , the surgent said it will not grow back due to where it was located . Hmm, it grew much larger . One thing i have learned if it doesn’t bother you leave it alone .

Pls apply organic castor oil. If you need let me know the brand . I found some lump my dog. Vet told me need biopsy later. But within one month after apply it disappeared

Hi Marina...I was curious to hear the results of your "lump" . So glad to hear it is not to be worried about...and as always will watch. 🤓 Now I am going to reach out to you re another issue. I go next week for lumpectomy and am looking for any input/ideas on how to prep and take to hospital. "Should" be in and out in one day. I appreciate any ideas you might share. Thanks 😊🌺

Hi! Thank you! If you haven’t had surgery yet, I would say prepare with what makes sense for you. It could look like having a fridge stocked or having someone bring a meal. Lots of hydration and rest to heal that first week. I pray you do well!

Aw. It’s a weird feeling when you’re done with treatment. Some are excited, some are mad still and some of us don’t know how to feel. I don’t think there’s a right way to be. Survivorship is a process.

Always pray for claimness of the spirit to stay strong. And fearless. That really help me. Am been strangling since a year and half now. From cancer to bowel diseases. I suffer Every day. But one thing that keep my heart very claim. Is talking to Jehovah God. And listening to song's. And also encouraging people with disabilities more. Or those with cancer also. Hello, may I know what was your symptoms when you got diagnosed? And what stage you've been diagnosed?

Hi! I had an ache in my breast after the first diagnosis. I was diagnosed after a mammo, biopsy and MRI. I felt a lump the second diagnosis.

So glad if its lypoma, but why didnt he do the biopsy just to be sure? There are also lymph nodes there as well and with your medical history I wouldnt really risk it… and I am not trying to scare you or be negative, I just see so many cases being dissmissed for nothing and then later it turns out its something.. I just wish you all the best and best care possible, and also I come from medical family and I was a patient my whole life for different stuff, so I know that you really need to be an advocate for yourself and push for being heard sometimes, so I am just being cautious ❤

Hi! Thank you for commenting. I am usually one that says the only way to be sure is to do a biopsy. But I saw the image of this. I have faith in my radiologist. I am OK with leaving this one. I am all about being your own advocate. I feel strongly this is one to leave alone until there’s a reason to do something different. I do CT DNA testing about every 4-6 months right now. That checks for circulating cancer cells in my body. That has been negative all of the times I’ve done it recently. I will continue to do that which will give me peace of mind. And I get a breast MRI done every year.

Hi, yes, having the genetic mutation it’s advised to have a hysterectomy. I had one done and ovaries removed.

My aunt had breast cancer but she’s fine now and I’m afraid to get it when I’m older should I get a mastectomy , I want a small chest anyway

Hi! That’s such a personal decision. I personally would not get a mastectomy unless I had a reason to like a genetic mutation or very dense breast tissue that had to be screened constantly. These are great questions to go over with your doctors. Do your screenings and check yourself.
