I have had 2 biopsies and a lumpectomy and have another biopsy tomorrow and am so stressed out even after being thru this several times. The waiting is the worst - I’m anxious and nervous. Thank you for doing this video. It’s nice to have someone that knows what I’m going thru. My husband has no clue how stressful this is for me. I could use all the prayers I could get. Thank you again.

I pray it all goes well for you. I have to have a biopsy in a few days myself and I'm quietly freaking out. And mind you this is my second biopsy, my first one was on my cervix and now this. I'm wondering will this be a pattern cause earlier this year I had to remove a benign tumor from my arm that was huge and visually visible. Any how I thank ladies for sharing. It's nice to not be alone.

Katie, I’m so sorry you went through this. I hate that the compassion from the technicians and doctors and nurses weren’t there. I’m an emotional person so crying happens with me too! I went through something similar but not the biopsy. December 22, 2022 I had my regular mammogram and later that day I was told they found two spots and I needed to go to the cancer breast center on December 27th. Only my husband knew because I didn’t want to tell my daughter or rest of my family before Christmas so they didn’t find out till December 26 because I desperately needed as many prayers as I could get. It was soo difficult to try and keep a smile on my face during the holidays, I usually would go to my bedroom and cry so no one would notice that something was wrong. I had to have a diagnostic mammogram which was more painful than a regular mammogram. When they told me they also needed to do an ultrasound that made my anxiety go through the roof. Thankfully it was benign. I had a sister who was sixty-five when she passed away from metastatic breast cancer so that gives me anxiety when I go to get my mammograms but as you said it’s very important to go and get checked if you feel a lump or something is not right. I’m so thankful that you are okay and that you made this video for others who are going through the same situation. I too am a child of God and absolutely believe in the power of prayer! So sorry for such a long comment. God bless🙏🏻 ❤

I am so sorry. This can be so scary. It is has happened to me before. I think I started getting mammograms in my 30s because of this. I have dense breast tissue and get cysts too. You are right we all should always get them checked. I am so happy that it was nothing. It is so common. When I was younger every single year I had call backs for my mammograms since the new machines came out like four years ago, I rarely get callbacks. I will never forget one year at a call back, I got into the room and the lady pulled up my mammogram and drew a circle and said, this right here, we are here to see if this is cancer. They took like 50 pictures that day with a doctor reading it across the hall. It was terrifying. Turned out to be nothing, just dense breast tissue. Thanks for sharing your story.

Get it checked out! If it turns out to be malignant the earlier it's caught, the better your chances of survival! That goes for you gentlemen out there too! Men CAN and do get breast cancer! Bless you for making this video and sharing your experience with us! Hopefully it'll empower anyone watching it to ovecome their fears if they've found a breast lump!

(not because of dealing with breast issues but I've had my share of other "fun" things. 🤪Wait 2 weeks for the next appt..Wait 2 more weeks...waiting for phone calls.. ugh! On the positive side (from my point of view) had you just had that small lump and they told you to come back in 6 months, maybe that would have been more stressful waiting. Not saying any of it was enjoyable for you. That's just how I think. Weird that a cyst showed up like a solid mass on the ultrasound. Thanks for sharing your story. It's so helpful to others. But yes- the anxiety.. ..which yes I struggle with anyway.😔 My sister had a breast lump that (not trying to gross) but had a green tint to it and it was nothing. I think they drained it. Glad you got this behind you before Christmas. Anyway! Merry Christmas and thanks again for sharing!! 💕😊Romans 8:28

I have had two breast biopsies, I ad the on the table, boob through the hole. I call it the oil changing table, because the Dr rolls under the table on a stool😂😂 My first one I got a marker. The second I got a phone call on Dec 22, that it was positive. It was very small, had lumpectomy and what they call mammosite radiation. God was good to me as always! That was 2008, surgery 2009. I always do my mammograms. I am 72 and KNOW Gods holds me in the palm of His hand. The waiting is ABSOLUTELY the worse, and there always seems to be a weekend involved. I just had a mammogram on Friday, waiting for results. I am not concerned .. Great informative video! Praising God yours was benign!!

I have been through this experience twice now. In 2015, I felt a lump on my right breast. I was under 40 and hadn’t had my first mammogram yet. I had the mammogram and immediately went across the hall for the ultrasound. The doctor said it was most likely a fibroadenoma but recommended a biopsy since there is no way to be 100% sure without one. My primary care physician referred me to a breast surgeon who opted to just remove the whole mass (2 centimeters) and some margin. It came back as a benign fibroadenoma, and I dodged the biopsy bullet. In June 2024, felt another lump. Same breast, different side. Did the mammo and ultrasound again. This time, I didn’t dodge the biopsy. Never had one before. I suffer from terrible medical anxiety. The biopsy procedure was so easy. Didn’t feel the lidocaine shot or anything else. The sample tool is loud but after the first sample, it miraculously doesn’t sound as loud. Unfortunately, this time it wasn’t benign. I am diagnosed with papillary ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) stage zero. It’s a super common early stage cancer, although the papillary part is a bit more rare. I will have surgery on 9/4, and as long as my margins are clean, I will be considered cancer free! My medical team sees no indication that my cancer has any invasive qualities. I am estrogen receptor positive (ER+) and will be on estrogen suppressor for at least 5 years. I will also receive radiation. Everything after surgery is all considered preventative and I should be good as new. I just wanted to share to say, even if the news isn’t what you are hoping for….it can still be something that is so easily treatable. Also, to stress the importance of self exams and knowing your body. I caught both my tumors by just randomly feeling around.

I have numerous cysts. I even had debris inside one of my cyst that made it suspicious. But they found out it was just debris. I have had MRI’s and ultrasound’s.
