If you look at a full bison skeleton you’ll see those “rib” bones look very much like the bones that make the hump on the bisons shoulder, they look like wide rib bones with a knob at one end, something to consider

Looks similar but isn’t a bison, I have bison on my farm, biggest way to tell is male and female bison both have horns and the skull he found didn’t, most likely a cow elk because the bone structure of elk and bison are similar looking

A bison has a bone like growth that doesn’t fall off, but continues to grow. It is covered by a hair-like material that hardens. I had a skull with horns as yard decoration. The “horns” slipped off the bone growth, so I kept them on my gun case.

Flair, shooting a deer with a 50 isn’t as bad as you think it would be. The bullet is so fast and big that it doesn’t expand much if at all. Keith warren had proven this twice; once with a miss still killing a doe and a body shot Not trying to be a keyboard warrior; I just wanna see bango shoot Bambi with the 50

I’m a pretty big deer Hunter and one thing I’ve learned is not to mow your grass all they way down if you don’t plant stuff because when deer are out In the fields they will feel safer because it won’t be as open for them.

I used to work in a slaughterhouse Cleaning out a machine that liquidised all the internal organs hat were not kept including bladder and bowls I had to clean and change the blades that was the single worst smell there is lol my mam had to literally hose me down when I got home before letting me in to shower and I’d already showered at work as well but the smell just stayed on you, suffice to say I didn’t do it for long since it was putting my mates from coming out to the pub or something because a woman wouldn’t come within 10 metres of me

Flair you should collect all the bones and especially skulls you find and the skulls of critters you shoot. Stick them to a wall or display them. Antlers too. You might be able to super glue that skull back together. You could have a cool collection. I always save skulls I find if they're not nasty.

I live in the UK and the way we do upland game is very different to Americans we plant strips of cover crop such as beetroots, corn or tall grass and in those strips of cover you put pheasant and partridge feeders so when you get your beaters to flush the pheasants towards you and you fellow gunmen you know exactly where they are and what direction they will fly and I find it allot more fun because your shooting pheasants like 40-50 yards above your head in some places
