I Found a New Hobby - RC Paramotors

Could this be better than an RC Plane? This is an honest review of the good and not so good things about flying an RC Paramotor, particularly if youve been flying RC Planes for a while and are looking to try something similar but different. Im a rookie to this gig and ive got to admit its pretty exciting - in a very relaxing sort of way, but there is a steep learning curve.
Stay tuned as I will be releasing a video shortly outlining a few important tips and tricks to making your introduction to paramotoring as hassle free as possible. I would love to hear your opinions on this - what you think ?

thanks for the honest review, and congrats on getting it in the air! I've been toying with getting one of these, especially for the night flying - they just look so cool. Plus the compact storage. Which one is this?

Once you get the technique down pat Dave you might want to get a full-sized one like Alishanmao and try that? 😜😱 Should be ideal in the Emerald Isle with all those bogs around for soft landings! 😉🤣🤣

Love it bud haha such a fun rc. The strings hanging out hack me off but man it is hard to launch. Where did you get yours bud yours looks smaller than mine 🤔

I love the idea, but launching it (take off) seems very complicated. Please do a "how to" video on that.

Hey mate, since you have succesfully flown an RC Paraglider maybe you can help me :D I just bought one but its extremely unstable in the air, a slight breeze or movement on the sticks and it crashes (the glider folds, like some kind of stall). Do you have any idea what i am doing wrong? Break lines too short maybe? And how do you control flying up and down with a Paramotor? Just with throttle?

Hey buddy, sorry to hear about your hard time , they really do have a steep learning curve. I’m guessing that if your kite is unstable in the air it maybe a centre of gravity issue. Check your instructions again , or else just try moving battery back and forth. Also depending on the size of your kite they are very very heavily affected by winds or even light breezes- it really needs to be almost zero wind. I’ll be making a ‘how to’ video soon for fellow novice pilots - good luck 🤞

@@rcpilots1291 I got my first sucessfull flight today, and very stable! :D I found the problem... the break lines were to short, so whenever i tried to make a turn the wing on that side already stalled and I crashed. Now everything works fine and its a nice, gentle evening flyer :)
