I loved Saguaro but after 19 years got sick of the heat and moved to Prescott but fishing isn’t so good up here. Only allow electric motors on the lakes here so might get a fishing kayak and give the lakes a try up here willow lake, Watson lake, Lynx lake

My dad was in a coma for a week after new year's day 2021. I can relate to what Nathaniel is going through. It was difficult seeing my father unable to respond for days, but all the hope returned when he woke up. Prayers for uncle Manuel and I'll ask God to watch over him.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, and my family used to go boating and waterskiing at Saguaro Lake when I was little. This was back in the 1960s. It looks much the same as I remember, but I don't recall any algal blooms. By the way, it's pronounced, "Sa-war-row." They are only found in Arizona, and parts of Mexico. Hope your brother continues to improve, Senior, and we'll all keep praying for him to have a full recovery.

Suhwaro... I've commented multiple times to come fish the salt river lakes, but If you want trout, I would go up north to Heber and hit Woods Canyon or Willow Springs, I generally get them at night....

Saguaro Lake was my go to lake every year until September of 2023… when I moved out of Arizona. I think about it often. Great memories with my wife and kids, and hunting and fishing.

You guys make me think of when I was a child, many moons ago. My father loved to fish and hunt and camp. We often went to the Colorado River or lake Mead. We lived in Southern California, I have fond memories of doing things with my brother my sisters and Dad. Mom didn't like it too much but sometimes she came with us. Nice to be able to watch someone doing these fun things, thank you.

Too bad you didn't come up to Roosevelt Lake, it's 20 minutes from my house, and also San Carlos Lake is very close. I also lost a nice Sieko wristwatch, not very far from where you had lunch, while a group of friends were Cliff jumping. Years later, they blasted most of the easily accessible one's. And The Salt River chain of Lakes are really beautiful the farther you progress up. I'm very happy to hear that your brother/uncle is improving.

It's named like the cactus. I was just there over the weekend for some paddle boarding. AZ KAYAKS does an event the weekend closest to the full moon for the GLOW FLOAT ! Them night time glow floats with everyone is the best!!! Love the fellow paddlers always concerned with others health and safety ❤ Best wishes to your family for a strong recovery! Roosevelt lake is huge about and hour E/NE of saguaro but canyon lake is great too!! You could probably get a sight of people jumping the cliffs at canyon lake and with these temps take a jump as well 🙌🏊

My daughter's family lived in Mesa and we took a ride to Lake Saguaro for a day. Beautiful area and researched the lake. It is supposed to have 7 to 10lb Bass there. Being from Wisconsin I totally fell in love with the area! Prayers for your uncle and family 🙏

Happy to hear your relative is doing better. Great video as usual. As for your GoPro issues, if you have a 10 it’s a difficult model. Any GoPro you can take off the door, take out the battery and run a external battery charger, or off your boats power. Get a some shade on it and fans that run off usb are available so you can use the same external battery. The lack of the door and battery in your GoPro will help with keeping it cooler.

I suffered from Heart Failure. Just keep focus on Living, show him videos of fishing. He will get the motivation to get better. One Idea to keeping your Go Pro Camera battery cool during the Heat outside. Take a zip lock bag ( gallon size ) put the camera inside, sit on top of the ICE in the Cooler, once a fish is on, use the camera and then put back in the Cooler. Hope that helps. Paul

I follow a lot of channels throughout youtube. You mentioned about the lake having a Golden Algae problem. If possible, could you ask those people that tell you of the algae problem if this issue is normal or is it something NEW to the lake or whatever waters you are fishing. When the bass are busting the shad, that's the best time. Dual minnow leader cast into the shad and crank. Lots of fun. There is walleye in saguaro lake, also. You are in the Tonto National Forest. Saguaro is the last lake of the Salt River starting with the Roosevelt dam. Apache, Canyon and Saguaro lakes all have dams that control the water. Canyon lake is known for its bighorn sheep.

That’s my favorite lake to jet ski at, but we always have to clean our hangout spots of the dead fish and algae prior to going out. I hope you guys stayed for the sunset, they are stunning.
