It took me three days to find this dam island. Surprisingly remote, too much so. I'm a kitesurfer more than a boardsurfer, and this island has a gorgeous lagoon with an outside wave, perfect setup with side shore trade winds. Nice find.

The thing about us east coast surfers is that we have so much more gratefulness than west coast surfers. They get better waves but we are like seagulls as we pick up everything we can get. Ive lived here in socal and all around hawaii guam and saipan. Its spoilization over here.......no 38 degree water

Ahhh the fickle Caribbean/ Bahamas. Here today, fading this afternoon. After years of 3 month flat spells I moved to Hawaii. I have great memories of empty glassy perfection, but they are so few and far between. 20 years here now, and I’m saturated with consistency and power. I don’t miss having so much anticipation and having to settle for waist high mediocrity.
