Cheers buddy, I thought I had some extra footage from the tripod cam for this session but if I did, I can't find it. Nevertheless it's all about telling the story and it turned out ok in the end. That piece was the icing on the cake my friend. I have found few pieces in this region that are bordering "Picker" size. I guess it's all part of the journey.

It seems to be the luck of the draw when it comes to the bigger pieces. It's great when it happens but it's not that common from my experiences buddy 👍

Just depends where ur looking bud I do hav a spot that is flake, picker or nothing. Don't get me wrong they are few and far between but iv pulled at least 40 picable pieces and I'm sure there's afew more. Yet when iv travelled up stream I get more flower and fly poop . Must just be the right catch for it. 👍

Nice video Daz. You found some lovely gold there. I'd be very happy with that for 4 hours work. Looking at the heavies in the pan I'm guessing you're in the borders 😉. My gear is packed away for Winter. Getting a bit of a fair weather panner😀

The trouble with sluicing this time of year, as in autumn, is the leaves clogging the top mat. But yer, it was a honest afternoon session. Seems to be a good area, however the gold is found in small pockets. You might shift a bucket or two and not notice anything going on, then ping ! A spec of gold 🙂
