You know when you spot genuine talent, it hits you where nothing else can. I have noticed also popularity takes this edge off artists' music. Although going onto the X-Factor gave you an undoubted boost in popularity, winning it would have spoiled your music. The was you are now, not influenced by any record labels and pressured for money etc. is the perfect time.
