its more like extra normal hit from all meepo. When manual cast, maybe just 1 or 2 can do extra hit, the followers will not. That is why it deal more damage

this, but also that faster teleport onto somebody means that dmg from it comes faster. That's the main reason why dps got higher i think. The amount of dmg was similar but dealt in shorter time so dps number was higher. That means the burst potential is much bigger and enemy has much less time to react with counterplay liike some heals/shields or enemy support with glimmer cape/force staff

Meepo feels really easy to play rn with aghs, shards and auto poof, even Atos as the build, he can actually scale quite well and not just fall off if the game not end fast

Did not know about the auto cast poof. It help beginnerr play the hero easier. They did the same with visage with the fanikiar stun ability on the herom you dont have to select and it just keel using the stun on the nearest familar.

1st u rush power treads ,2nd buy midas ( coz its so gud now) ,3rd skadi (1st core item), 4th shard (optional if u think u cant survive teamfight) blink dagger 1st if u dont have other initiator, vyse 1st if u do have initiator in ur team , n vice versa , upgrd to swift blink , n buy skadi untill u got 4 eyes , only buy agh if u feel necessary bcoz rushing agh feel a bit off now and never buuy atos it is garbage item for meepo now!

So the autocast thing doesn't make that big of a difference. Each frame of the video is 1/60th of a second. At 0:59, casting all Poofs manually was only 28 frames slower, so about 0.5 seconds. Autocast allows a slightly faster burst, but also allows ~0.25 seconds more auto-attack damage from the 2nd clone and ~0.5 seconds from the 3rd clone.

I hate the new trend of dota developers discouraging unique playstyle, or even using micro. The new builds for Brood and Meepo specifically have been conceptually false to them. Techies is a standard Dota hero now, Spectre passive doesn't ignore bkb anymore etc. I don't even play these heroes, but it's toxic for a game to simplify the most unique heroes it has.

@@zombieexies go to settings, there is an option to assign a hotkey to directional move. once you've assigned it eg. keyboard button T, hold down T in game and right click in a clockwise or counterclockwise circle around your hero.

I hate this option because its basically a skill on your main meepo so its disabled if you get stunned or silenced... Its cool to be good without it, and add it as a mix to toggle on and off whenever you like. So if you get ganked on your meepo and you are not good with the old way, you wont be able to bring your other meepos to help if you are cc locked...
