That owl definitely was injured but alive. It opened its mouth partially and gasped. Very sad. I personally would have called animal control or DNR but maybe she didn't think it was alive. Idk. Very sad. My heart breaks for it.

OMG That owl was still alive. How i wished i could have rescued him. I decided to go check the video in extreme slow motion after seeing @Kristin Dewey's comment and she is right. He takes a sharp breath at about 1:47or 1:48. Poor thing. Makes me so sad.

Me too. I was a vet tech and we had a baby owl (I was in Korea in the Army at this time) that we were raising because abandoned and it ate a string. It didn't survive but that was after a month of feeding him. I went right back there and am now not okay. Just reading comments to see if anyone else saw it.

A few months ago, my mom and I saved an opossum when diving. He let me carry him to safety. I was shocked. Just feel bad for the owl. Dead owl - full of flies and maggots so it looked as if it was moving! I come across badly injured wild animals every day as I work as a volunteer in local woodlands. We leave them be and let nature take its course. Sad, but usually tampering with wild animals isn't a great idea as they often carry quite serious diseases. Best to leave it be.

Awesome haul!! I love the Tinkerbell. I have a Penguin bank that I use for prayer requests. That owl would have freaked me out too. Last Sunday my daughter and I found a snake in the barn when we were caring for the ducks and geese. I thought snakes would be hibernating by now!! Nope!! @@katherinewright9424 I as a reiki practitioner and animal rights who save animals dead or alive to honor an owl stuns me. I feel she looked over it because material things consume us and we tend to not see in front of us. I love her show she is a beautiful young lady. But was very disappointed in the ability to dial for help no matter dead or alive owls are indangered and need to be respected at all costs. It was alive not dead and it did have a chance. I have dealt with on the brink of death animals and birds. I pray for her and the owl. Love to all. Love and prayers

I'm from Indiana and if you find animals like that just supposed to leave them alone and call the DNR. I think if Kelly has seen it move she would have been really upset. The pink tea cup looks like depression glass from the 1920s. If it is, even with the chip it's very collectible. With it's age, it would also be a bonafide antique (100 years or older.) Great finds! Happy anniversary!!

Hi Kelly! Congrats on 8 years. (It's 25 for me!) The photo album with the daisies is from the 60s, and so are the color photos I saw. ( I could tell from the hair styles, glasses, etc.) The black-and-white ones could be earlier. The pink Depression Era cup is from the 1930s. You're right--the pink color glows.

@@southsidecarly7427 I use to work with endangered animals and many are saved due to others help. I'm so confused how you can look over an owl and continue to go through trash. It hurts to see that. I have thinking of that owl who has no way of living without someone's help. It had a chance but all odds are gone for it now. Just so sad. Love and prayers
