I can’t believe that huge trash can was full of so much wasted snacks.. when people are struggling with food insecurity snacks are such a huge pick me up, they may not be very healthy but they can be motivational for people going through hard times.

We had balloons at my grandmother's 90th birthday. Yes, at 90 years, she inhaled helium for the first time. She was so funny and wanted to do it over and over. What a gem she is!🙋‍♀️

I recommend that you buy a truck bed cargo net. They are super handy and fit any size truck bed and hold items in the bed super well. I use mine all the time when I go to auctions and estate sales. They sell for about $15 at Harbor Freight store and are available elsewhere too.

I got a cargo net for the back of my truck. Works great. Not expensive. Clips to the tie down rings in the bed of the truck. Nothing flies out ! Happy Diving 👍❤️

I had the same thing happen with the dumpster warning. Got out to check a Sally's dumpster and it was like "Warning! Warning! My mom was cracking up. We left pretty quickly and the rest of the evening we kept saying "Warning! Warning! Danger Will Robinson, Danger!" Needless to say, we do not go there anymore. I think they have a silent alarm🤣 But great finds at Petco! My dachshund loves the lamb chops for dogs- Btw, I will be mailing something to you on Tuesday 😊 One more thing, my friend has an iguana and is a mail carrier. She will dress her iguana in a postal uniform and often takes her iguana for walks in a baby carriage when she walks her dog. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Such an amazing haul! So sad to see all that pets stuff & food in the dumpsters especially that last one.. it broke my heart! Re: broken candles from bath & bodyworks-there is a great DIY on KZbin on how to recycle these. By recycling candles, you won’t need to buy new ones! The less petroleum products you buy, the better for the environment.

Sometimes shelters will take foods for pets that are a different brand than they feed shelter animals (best to keep them on a consistent diet if possible) and give to people having trouble feeding their pets at home. The county shelter here has a pet food assistance program for people who are having problems feeding pets that people can apply for. Even human food pantries here sometimes have pet food to offer clients with pets.

The little lambs are called "Lamb Chop". It was a children's TV show when I was a kid back in the 1950-to now. Her ventriloquist was Shari Lewis. Hello from Wisconsin. @Thrift Kingdom @Michael Morning Star People are always blaming the store managers for throwing food out. Those orders come from WAY ABOVE THEM. Corporate DOESN'T want to be bothered with the time or possible law suits it may bring. Also our pantries are bare and they won't except food from individual persons. They want to know where when and what Corporation you work for. If your food isn't all the same brand and it has to be at least a few days before you drop it off or they won't except it. Many have tried. It's such a shame. We also had a program called RUBYS PANTRY. You paid 20$ for 2 laundry baskets of food. People lined up in their cars. It got so bad police had to direct traffic. Now that only have enough food for about a dozen cars. No police needed. So sad. It's not only the food situation Renters are getting kicked out every day. We live in what's called Low Income. I CALL BULL..Im on SS and my daughter works full-time at a grocery store. We have been here almost 5 years. 700.00 2&half years ago it's gone up 3 times. Now $1.040.00 another $20.00 and we have to move. They have already just evicted 6 elderly woman that can't afford to live here and most have been here at the least 10 years but they don't care. 😢😢😢.

Thank the powers in charge in D.C. about 12 years ago. They changed all the corporation donation structures, and nearly ruined a bunch of good non profits. The paper work is astronomical, both for businesses and charities as well. If items are damaged or destroyed, the tax write off is 100%, if it's donated to a 501c3, it's only 50%. Blame the ones responsible,not the ones working for a living.

Hi :) If the animal shelter can't take the pet food ,try giving it to a food bank or leaving it in a box under the free pantry. Many people who need food may also have critters who do as well :)
