It seems that there are many expensive ways to get to the fine gold, but the cheaper ways, like yours, are very effective it seems. Would have liked to have seen a known amount before and after to evaluate the effectivity. My idea is similar, unfortunately in Denmark there is no gold, so I cannot test it. The idea is to attach a paint/cement mixer (or a metal rod with a thread) like yours directly to a pan of sorts. The pan has to be slightly smaller that a straitsided bucket, then down on the creek-the paydirt is shovelled onto the pan (in the bucket) and start the drill, the lights will move out to the edge, the heavies will stay where they are, the drill gets lifted and the lights just spin off, there you go, instant panning.

I have posted this before. Jeff's recovery has improved over the years, but his property is about 2 feet higher than the tracts around him because of all the tailings that have accumulated. There is a significant amount of gold in his yard dirt, because he was not using as good a recovery system for most of the tailings spread out there.

It's like a DeBeers pan. We use them in the small scale diamond industry to separate diamonds from the waste rock. I'm not surprised it works well for gold too.😊

The 4" coupler I picked up had an outside dia of 5", had to add a reduser from 4" to 2" and then another small piece to get the right thread size for the bolt. Having no 5" hole saw I got that too. with 3 buckets and glue came out to $127. Didn't really need the glue but I like having extra stuff ( abs to pvc glue ) Gorilla glue gun on Amazon $30, but that's cool and can't wait to try it out! gonna do some digging this weekend! Another idea I just thought of, if you think this is beneficial, is put a brick in the cement tub to put your pan on so it doesn't sink when you are dumping your fines into it. Wow on that last pan!!!

Idea Jeff since you always find gold in your backyard you should do a contest. Divide your back yard into 8 small sect and give them a secret number you only know and have patrons guess the numbers of the location the one who guessed first wins that spot. On one day the winners of that spot have to bring their own homemade gold sluice or what ever they trap gold with to see who wins. If you have watched your videos over the years they will know what section should have the most gold. Winner gets to keep and what ever you want to add. Note after the event everyone gets to help returning the back to mother nature like we would all like to see miners do after mining their claims. Whatcha Think?

Poor man hacks are fun. Yer on the right track Sunny Boy. Corrugated tubing, I keep telling you where to get it free from the auto parts store, they throw it away be-e-e-e-cause the customers prefer a funnel for DEF (DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID). That click tubbing is bendable so you can create the "inside bend" corkscrew effect, it's processes anything smaller than 3/16 of an inch & it's the perfect size for flow. Just try it once, or did you throw it away?

With gold as heavy as it is even though his panning and other skills look fast and careless he isn’t loosing much I’ve panned slow and fast like him the gold always goes to the bottom as soon as the dirt moves it’s buried and when he does these things like he says most times is I’ve a catch pan
