Brett, most glyph areas are concentrated in an area that has high spirit energy, thus the makers were communicating with spirit or giving prayer for things they felt important.

I wonder if that Stone cabin was a stage stop .. It was obviously a very nice place at one time... Surely they knew all about the glyphs and most likely dug the mine ... So water had to be close, or maybe even from the mine. I wonder if they carved their own names somewhere around that cabin..

The Native Americans used the swastika as a peaceful symbol. The NMSU yearbook was called the swastika, after the indigenous meaning, of course they had to change it. Man, I enjoy your videos. All the best.

@@ch0zman absolutely ‼️ and what's even crazier and will open your eyes to how big the deception has been for the past 80 plus years will show you that A.H. never perverted the symbol at all; if you look at ancient cultures that portrayed the symbol it was turned out of 45° angle by the Hindu culture as well way before Nazism ‼️

I’m always amazed with the aborigines wall paintings & these glyphs in the USA. @@BrettVaughnB100 No sir, I wasn't in it. I was about 9 or 10 years old at the time. I was on set for several of the takes, but the most memorable one was where the two farm boys and the Mexican bandit leader were buried up to their necks. I had snuck in as close as I could get like your typical 9-year-old boy would do. I was leaning on a director's chair and there was a guy sitting in one to my left. He turned around and I was face to face with Willie Nelson. I thought I was in trouble for sure and took off out of there. lol.

Brett, it is so good to see you out with Brenda. How is she coming along? Is she finally trusting you enough to bond? Those ruins took a lot of work when they were first built. As they say, there is gold in them thar hills, likely some old coins and such. Break out the metal detector. One of these days I am going to have to pay you visit. After 15 months of misery resulting in some serious back surgery, I am slowly getting back on my feet. Your adventures encourage me more than you think. Stay humble and watch your topknot, especially with all of the border issues going on these days.

Hi. May be you could fix a GoPro on a rope and let it down in the mine. May be a meeting with Brent from Ghost Town Living could be interesting for having a closer look to these mines. Probably the history behind that ist really interesting? What if one of these mines is still from the spanish? If you ever have contact to a hopi or other natives- ask there for the meaning of the petroglyps - probably comes up with surprising info. Around 26,48 that looks like lava !? And that mini-canyon with the camp is not only beautiful, but there are trees, so I guess there is water in that rock? Thanks for showing. Greetings from Germany Chris

Thanks for taking us along. Back in the mid 80s I lived in Las Vegas and went to the library and researched what old settlements were near Vegas back in the day. I found a Mt. Potosi not far from Vegas. I jumped on my Honda 450 street bike and followed the map in the library book. The first left turn i took was the wrong turn, the road was like covered with blast rock, never figured out why. I got back on the right road and when I was on the top of the hill on the road I stopped and was looking down at a very small valley, maybe 100 yards wide and up to the left was a trail leading up a hill to a mine opening. The town was just foundations and had a spring in the middle of it. I found items still sticking out the ground, one item was the iron strapping from an old single tree but i left it. The mine opening had an old cart on wheels still on the tracks. Turns out it was a Mormon settlement and a lead ore mine. Id like to be able to do what your doing now but im way up north now. Thanks again for your videos. 👍

I know the Petroglyphs well. If you were at the glyphs above the earthen dams you need to watch out for the western diamondbacks that den up near there under a ledge crack that runs along the center of the ridge. I'm sure they are probably still inactive until some more warmer weather. Just a heads-up for you as I'm sure your use to the snakes as much as you go out. That area is Fluorite ridge with many old Fluorite mines. The large headframe down on the flat was the Greenleaf mine.

I watched a documentary on those petroglyphs an there is these same petroglyphs all over the world. Asia India Egypt an even in a lot of Europe. There are people that has spent a lifetime studying them. An has collaboration with native Americans on what the symbols mean. The oldest petroglyphs actually a cave petroglyphs is in Tennessee from the Mississippians is what they were called they were the mound builders. Interesting stuff

Brett we both are curious about those Petroglyphs, how old mostly? True you found a lot of them. Imagine what it was like maybe Old West or before, you are right look what a view you can see horse dirt stirring up from a distance away. Beautiful country, not for everyone, most people today appreciate populated area, we seem to appreciate this open space beauty. Thanks for great video apologise long comment.-Kid

The 'swastika' symbol was used by Native Americans and other places around the world a long time before it was used adopted by the Nazi party so it could be out there on some ancient petroglyph but I think you're right, that was probably a recent creation you found

It would be amazing if a Native Scholar could explain what message was left on boulders! They broke the code in tombs in Egypt. Still amazing to look at! Thank you for the ride along!
