A piranha plant strategy that worked way too many times (aka at all) is just standing there with ptooie, not even throwing it at them. Some players are just attracted to the sheer gravitational pull of a floating spike ball.

I am a victim of this because I KNOW I can get a free hit in, so I always rush in and take damage. I even fall for using get up attack while the plant player at ledge is using ptooie lol

most of the time it's instinct to pick bounce when the rest of the options aren't as good. but you can intentionally pick bounce to increase the chances of having stronger spells appear more often because bounce won't reappear if it's already casted

Oh this reminds me of the time I was playing random characters I did not know how to play at all I picked Roy and I was doing very well I realized it wasn’t because I was good it was because my opponent was very bad I took down two stocks only taking 40% so I decided to just fully charged a n-special just to test AND HE WALKS INTO IT AT ZERO AND DIES (because he was play Kirby) I may not be the best at the game especially because I am torturing myself by trying to be a ganon main but I would never just walk into Roy’s n-special fully charged as Kirby.
