If you could go back in time would you have got that john deere in 4wd

Would 4 wheel drive be nice to have yes. Would I change my decision no. This tractor was on sale and a 4 wheel drive would have been $12,000 more. I couldn’t have spent that much more nor would it have increased the profitability of what this tractor is used for by that much more. No regrets, I might discuss this more in depth in a video. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the video! That splitter worked really good. The steering wheel on your farmtrac tractor looks almost exactly like the one on my 1988 Suzuki Samurai.

Ben that was a awesome job, and the JD is a very impressive tractor, just think if you would have gotten it with front wheel assist, what it could really be capable of doing, just my opinion with what I’ve seen it do for you, God Bless

Yeah 4 wheel drive would have been nice but just wasn’t in the budget and it’s doing what it was purchased for. Thanks for watching

Hey Ben, I like that grapple! Would it be easier to leave the logs picked up with the grapple to cut up so you don't have to bend down so much? The John Deere seems to handle all the jobs you throw at it since you got it. Great looking tractor. Take care
@khtractors7 ай бұрын
I sawed a few held by the grapple to get started. Once I get a layer of blocks on the ground I like sawing on them better. You end up with at least two cuts needing made after releasing the grapple anyways. Thanks for watching

I have a question, I didn't receive a notification as I usually do, for this video. I'm not sure why, but I did notice it in my feed amongst other videos. If you can shed some light on why this didn't show up, like it always has before, I'd appreciate any advice, I have all selected on my subscription. My dad had a three point boom that he had bought in the 70's. We mainly used it to lift motors and equipment, it just had a bar loop on the end, no grapple. Really like that wood splitter you have. Enjoyed watching, thanks and have a great day!

I really don’t understand how this KZbin stuff works. It doesn’t seem consistent. Just check to make sure the bell notification is clicked still. It could have been clicked off accidentally. I do appreciate you being concerned enough to ask though. Thanks so much for watching!

Looking Good Ben....Good to Know which is faster on the Splitter, that will make a difference in the Future....Also as for the Ole Farmtrac, I've said it before and will say it again. If Farmtrac or another company would build tractors using those Blueprints again and Build them just like the 10 or 30 series fords or farmtracs were built.....with on particulate filters, just the cadillatic converters on them (for lack of a better description). They would not be able to keep them on the lots and they would sell Fast.....I would look hard at one for sure...for sure! Have a Great day.
@khtractors7 ай бұрын
Yes they would take over the market if that ever happened. Good all around machines. Thanks for watching
@ABMFARM7 ай бұрын
After I made the original comment I looked them up. Farmtrac still makes these tractors and Massey still makes the older 245, 375, 390's etc.. They just cannot sell them over here thanks to the emissions pill our politicians took LOL...@@khtractors

I could be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but aren't the Farmtrac tractors built in India using the tooling from the Ford tractors just prior to Ford selling off to New Holland? My neighbor's Farmtrac sure had a lot of parts and castings that look like they could be interchangeable with my Ford 4000SU. Either way, the Farmtrac units seem to be solid and well built and hold up pretty well. About the only issue my neighbor is having with his is some hydraulic quirks especially with the power steering. I really like your grapple.
@khtractors7 ай бұрын
That power steering cylinder may need rebuilt. Mine was bypassing internally and became a headache until I got it rebuilt. They are pretty good tractors, I just worry with getting parts. Thanks for watching

Wow your property looks vastly different without all that snow (I did notice the small pile below the porch where the slide was made by the boys) but I agree with your setup on the firewood, people that have never had to do that can’t fully appreciate it, stay safe and keep the videos coming.

Do you just heat your shop with firewood,or does it go to the house as well? If it goes to the house too ain't your stove at your shop, the house looks far away from the stove.

If you want to really increase your subscribers and views, do something like Andrew Camarata or Diesel Creek - Buy and old piece of heavy equipment like an old dozer that needs lots of love and KZbin yourself getting it running well enough to resale it as a viable machine then keep repeating the process.
@khtractors7 ай бұрын
I’m not in it to be like anyone else. All my life I’ve been (me) never conformed for gain or for friendship. My channel will grow or it won’t, but at the end of the day it will be me doing what I do and have done long before KZbin. Thanks for watching
