I was obsessed with greyhounds when I was 15 or 16! At 21 or 22 I suddenly discovered dobermans and fell in love with them, too! I enjoyed the story a lot and was rooting a little when I heard 'greyhound' pop into your video! The thought that dobermans are in your blood is a super cool concept and we're cheering you and your history on!

Amazing story!!!! I’ve got one too. I heard from an Indian mystic that we unconsciously name our pets after our needs and desires. I didn’t believe it so I researched the name of my Dobie, Ruby. Turns out that rubies were once worn as talismans providing personal protection to body and property. 😮

Okay, now everything makes sense. It's your birthright to be the Doberman guy. 🤯

I believe that there are no coincidences. Things are carried in and called up through our dna/lineage. Who knows why? Maybe to continue the knowledge and create with it. Thank you for all you bring to the world of Dobermans and their owners. I have watched and absorbed as much as I could about the breed for years (your videos especially) and finally brought home a pup this summer. She's asleep in my lap as I type this. Life is good.

John, you WERE that dog that saved the key. Go do a past life transgression and find out for sure. lol Seriously though, imagine how many people touched that piece of wood throughout the years. I wonder if it can be swabbed for DNA.

I read the Greyhound breed was used in the development of the Dobie.

You should get a reading with someone who can communicate with your ancestors and also help you figure out what any of your own past lives may be.

Whereas the Doberman Pinscher is arguably primarily a German Pinscher with other breeds’ characteristics added, I would venture to guess the dog on your family plaque is a German Pinscher. Just a guess of course.
