This is the story of How I Met My Wife in a Guatemalan Village! Everything you see in this video is 100% raw and true. It all started in a small random local store that sold cheap clothes .....
There I decided to start shooting a video and at the same minute I met a girl called Edna..... the rest is history haha!!
Hope you enjoy this video, haha!!

Taxes and rents are higher here. Everything is more of a competition. Many people in other countries don't have money but the property tax is only 100 dollars or something a year. They may even have land and might do some small farming. It's a different lifestyle I'm sure somewhere out in the country here there are happy people too.

Unlike Tim here, I rolled the dice, quit my job and went back to Brazil for 6 months. Married now for 15 years with our own kids and splitting time between, Australia, USA and Brazil. Literally exactly what I thought. Other channels are so cringy when they interact with locals, but this guy was so genuine and natural with every single person he met, even the guy who gave him a ride on the motorcycle to the girls house. The laughter wasnt forced and everyone seemed to be genuinely having a great time. Maybe what helped was the fact he spoke and understood basic Spanish so it made it easier, but I like that he was super respectful to everyone. That girl seemed to REALLY like him, she immediately introduced him to her mother which is important and a big deal in Hispanic culture. And her jokes about marriage seemed to be only half jokes, I think she honestly was feeling him and even the looks she gave him were flirtatious looks. She wouldnt have joked about marriage so many times if she wasnt interested in him. They'd honestly make a cute couple, they looked so comfortable with each other. I kinda found myself hoping theyd end up dating Lol. Great video, definitely liked this video ALOT better than all the other tourist videos Ive seen pop up on YT.

what a lovely girl and family. People dont have much money but they know how to live life. Strong family bonds, being there for each other and just trying to make the best of the day. and being totally welcoming to strangers and share their life. Thats what life should be for each one of us :-)
