I'm a gringa living in Guatemala City with my husband who has lived here his entire life. I've used the Transmetro, but only with him. I mostly use Uber to get around or he drives me. I like Guatemala City a lot and if someone knows the city well they can get around safely. It is intimidating for foreigners and I stand out. Everyone knows I'm not a local but I've only had good experiences here! I've been to Zones 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16. I'm also creating videos but mostly short videos on Instagram and Facebook. Are you creating videos about Guatemala City? Keep it up! I love your country. :)

Hola Kerry! I agree with everything you said. Driving in Guatemala city is not as easy as in other cities and I think we both agree it´s better to avoid using local taxis. I am really enjoying the process of KZbin and I am taking time to learn and get more comfortable in front of the camera to create better content. Thanks for the support and I´ll check out your IG and FB.

It warms my heart that the very first thing that I see on a video about Guatemala city is McDonald’s.

Jaja, thought it was a funny opening scene. But yea, those Mc are all over the city.

SAY DUDE, WHY DONT YOU CREATE A VIDEO SHOWING FONTABELLA ITS AMENITIES, THEN WALK TO OAKLAND MALL SHOW OAKLAND MALL, BUT ALSO SHOW WHAT KIND OF BUSINESESS ARE THERE BETWEEN THESE 2 MALLS

Being from Guate, an Oakland video is inevitable, jaja. I really like the idea of walking from there to Fontablella.

It seems in my country chicken is much cheaper than guatemalan potatos! 3 dollars for 1,5 kilos? Thats crazy... 😀
