I Found Mysterious Fish LIVING in ABANDONED MUD POND!

In today's video, I drain one of my backyard ponds that we have been stocking with colorful crawfish, eels, colorful fish, and other mysterious unknown fish including a super rare LUNG FISH! Before we did that, we fed my new RARE plecos, tigrinus catfish, abba abba knife fish, and my MONSTER redtail catfish! We then started netting around in the black mud pond and ended up catching tons of guppies, betta fish, gourami, crawfish, AND MORE! When we fully drained it we found a monster fire eel, a rare lungfish, albino alien fish, and more which we transported to other aquariums and ponds! What should we name our new lung fish? Omgosh bobbys mum is the cutest I love how the fish jumped from her hand and the 1st thing she says is i butterfingered it 😂lol love it. Your mom is so sweet and funny, Bobby! You should get her a couple angel fish for the tiki tank! That lung fish looks super dope. I've never seen one that's so light in color. All the ones I've ever seen in person have been super dark gray/brown. Maybe name him Leonardo or DaVinci? The way he "walks" reminds me of DaVinci's many different inventive machines.

Something you'll find out with shrimp too is that for arthropods, colors concentrate just fine, but don't mix well. If you have crayfish or shrimp that are different colors crossbreed, their offspring will usually wind up being wild-type...meaning brown, beige, or other natural colors. My suggestion is that if you want to breed your crustaceans to actually look pretty, segregate them by color.

Well I had different colored shrimp in my tank but their offspring was red because I think red was the dominant gene, but because the red ones also had the recessive yellow color gene in them, their offspring was yellow, red, and orange. Some of the red ones even had cool orange/tan lines on their backs

Thanks for the update, happy to see the froggers are happy & healthy! No judgement on the shrimp tank splurge, I got some ghost shrimp to accompany a betta tank I started for my son during Covid & ended up really getting into shrimp myself. Spent more than I’d like to admit on all kinds of colorful lil babes. Much cooler than the betta imo 😅 can’t wait to see you find some wild ones if you can.

Helen, Your boyfriend consistently says & does funny things which bring a huge smile to my face or I actually laugh out loud. I'm an older gal who had a goldfish when I was 2 yrs. old. Apparently, 70 yrs. ago my parents found me giggling in my room, playing in my little toy kitchen, frying up that little fish...just like my parents did after a successful fishing trip! Mom & Dad buried her "at sea" & I never had another fish. Watching Bobby passionately collecting & rescuing fish brought back that old memory & memories of my brother & I always trying to catch fish & polliwogs! Problem with mixing colour shrimp you will have to cull loads as will throw out brown shrimp which are only good as feeders or to throw into a tank for algae but if you get a new colour shrimp and get a few of them separate them and breed them you will get a new type of shrimp
