Nobody knows this tiny house apartment exists in a “normal” looking apartment building in one of NYC’s coolest neighborhoods. Would you live here?

If this place had laundry (at least in the building) I'd call it a good deal. There's plenty of room for a wheeled island for the kitchen, and that outdoor space has real possibilities if someone wanted to clean it up. I'd be interested to find out how busy that rail line is.

I grew up living half a block from the airport property and the runway was adjacent to the fence. You get used to it and everyone just stopped talking when an airplane was landing because you couldn’t hear over the jet engines. It was the old Stapleton airport in Denver and doesn’t exist anymore but it was busy. I would prefer the intermittent train to constant road traffic.

Seeing that neighborhood again after so long was like a trip down memory lane; It seems so different yet still recognizable.

@@dexterwestin3747 same here. I live in cleveland and really have no reason to ever go to new york. My few experiences just passing through proved that im not missing much. The cost of living is what kills me. If this apartment was in my neighborhood, the most youd pay would be 1000 a month. As a matter of fact, most of the places i see here wouldnt even come clost to 800 a month. I live in a two bedroom on the ground floor, privacy fenced yard, and a weed cafe in the store front of my building and i only pay 500 a month. I hear the prices he rattles off and i about shit myself. Im addicted to this channel for some odd reason, though.

@@maddscientist3170 depends on where youre at. Theres still a lot of old guys that own these buildings that rent them out cheap. Last place i had was a 3 bedroom, utilities and wifi included for 400 a month. Decent area too, above a restaurant and very spacious. Just luck of the draw. Suburbs are still another story. But if you are paying 2-3000, you have a fairly big house, fenced in yard, garage, you name it. Hell, i used to live in a warehouse building. Had the whole third floor and it was converted into a 4 bedroom apartment, full bath and kitchen close to 60,000 sq. Ft. You could park multiple and very large vehicles in it. And thats what the current owner does now. But the old guy that owned the building before rented me the whole space for 700 a month.

That is such a beautiful loft, I could honestly see this working for a family unit. Especially with that mini backyard, that would be perfect for a kid if you can assemble a small playschool playground, or even a basketball set or goal net. I was seeing the "second den" as more of a breakfast nook, area, but the downstairs will be a weird media/desk set up, perfect for a work from home. I'm perfectly happy with just a TV and a desk setup. So I could play video games and stream movies, But also, THANKS CASH FOR THE NIGHTMARES WITH THAT MICKEY MOUSE RIDE

I am absolutely in love with a neighborhood. It is so vibrant! Apartment seems functional, except a closet above kitchen. Kitchen is small for apartment of this size. I am renting a two bedroom apartment and my kitchen is bigger. Not so many storage space in a kitchen. It can be added, but it's small for this size of apartment. A deck is absolutely amazing for a barbeque parties. I like bathrooms on each level, no need to go down a stairs during night.

I could see that as a two-person apartment with the balcony room being used as an office, study, or a guest room. The bedrooms are all kind of small, and it's not clear where you're supposed to do your laundry. You'd think they'd have a pull-down ladder for the inaccessible closet! If the place is pet-friendly, that's a major plus.

Ah, my neighbour practically. I live in St. Catharines, used to live in Port Colborne in the 70's and Buffalo was *the* place to go partying. I'd be visiting and shopping in Buffalo now, except I don't own a pesky passport. My folks used to have a condo in Williamsburg; my Dad needed an address in the US for business, but the taxes got to be too much, considering they kept the house in Port Colborne (my Mom said she was too scared to live in Buffalo) so after I left home, they moved permanently to New Hampshire. Idk why I'm so chatty, I call this living alone syndrome 😅 I really miss Buffalo; good times, good shopping and nice people.

The apartment seems roomy enough, bathrooms, bedrooms are nice, like the outdoor space and the rent, but I get very eerie vibes from it. I feel like someone took their own life there; sounds wacko, but I sometimes get these visions or feelings. I had to edit this because it was too lengthy. On my floor alone there have been multiple deaths in apartments, one in the hallway and one just 2 doors from me; a lovely older woman lived there and she was found dead in her apartment; it was estimated she had been dead for at least 2 weeks. I really want to get out of here, this building just keeps creeping me out. Even the first friend I made here died of a heart attack in her apartment. She called 911 but they couldn't resuscitate here. I can't even imagine how scary that must have been for her, waiting for help, all alone.

So after riding that shady bike with the flat tires you learned that you need to carry travel soap sheets, and something oil based like coconut oil. Use the coconut oil first on dry hands, work it into the sticky residue, rinse with plain warm water. You may need to use the oil a couple of times to remove all of the sticky residue. Once that's fully removed, pull out a travel soap sheet and wash hands like normal. Ta-da. Clean, residue free hands. Should probably also travel with a hand towel.

Cash, first of all best to you and your family in the New Year! Could you please show an apartment appropriate for a young married couple with a son and not a three b'room for people to share just moving into the City! Thanks!

In my state $4k a month is a million dollar mansion payment. Nice river front with docks and massive lawns.
