I live in a small town in Iowa. My apartment is 2 bedrooms and we pay electric for 465 dollars but we don't have a Walmart or even one fast food restaurant so I guess it's all about location on the plus side we have a lady who takes her llamas for walks and that's kind of neat to see.

I remember when this building was being built a few years ago. Nice building & apartments. The only problem it's across the street from Marcy Projects (NYCHA). Not a fan of living by NYCHA housing. But I'm very familiar with the neighborhood. Thanks Cash ❤!!!

Out-of-towners - Note that "rent stabilized" does not mean "affordble." Its a separate thing and only means your rent can't completely skyrocket overnight.

It means that it can’t go up more then 7.5 % yearly depending on a one year or two year lease but you are correct. Most rent stabilization is usually 1.5% to 2.2%.. but most luxury apartments usually go between 5% of 7.5.%

i live near Orlando FL we have place near there where it cost 2k month for 2 bedroom places and people can not afford them unless share with someone else or split the rent to wife husband or girl friend or boy friend. we can get house to rent for around 2k to 2.5k near ocean area CFL area that inland near rivers of east coast of CFL or east of orlando area. rent not cheap in FL now

Hmm... these units are not bad and are reasonable given all of the space you get and building amenities. Indoor parking for an extra $250/month? That's very reasonable. Rent stabilized? GREAT! I actually liked the $3700/month unit the best. It's a lower floor and I wouldn't need a balcony since a park is right across the street. The $4200/month is very spacious with lots of closet space. I liked that one too and would choose that unit over the $5100/month unit. But all 3 are very nice. Good find!

The place looks nice, decent enough amenities but.... the projects are right there. & all those closed up stores made me wonder if they're actually in business or maybe it was a Jewish holiday. But you do have to wonder & also find out how many of those stores are closed on Saturday for the sabbath (like Main Street in Kew Gardens Hills that's almost dead then)

I just look at it as one adjusts. If a store(s) is closed on Saturday, I buy it Friday or Sunday, or even arrange some type of delivery. I personally would never consider that an issue. Projects, though? That would cause me to proceed with eyes open and more cautiously. You might call me an income level snob but it is what it is...

They were excellent flats, but as an Australian family, we believe that the surrounding outdoor area should be as well. It just seemed like the streets around it were a little dreary, bland, and dull. You should definitely be near some decent green spaces and dining options. Or maybe it's just because winter in New York City seems a little chilly. There was also a substantial Jewish community, which was interesting to witness.

Pocari Sweat or Calpis? Both are big sellers in Japan. I buy Calpis and Pocari Sweat; I stumbled on them in one of our Asian markets and did a big vocal woohoo 😂 Pocari Sweat is a great thing to have with you if you're out baking on the beach in the summertime, like I do often. Nice apartments; I liked all the storage areas in the first one, the stove is a bonus, the 2nd one had great windows; perfect for Vitamin D deficient me.
