I liked this story. I liked the way it ended. I have a narcissistic brother who died recently. He was a very wicked selfish, self-serving man who tried making life miserable for me for as long as I can remember. He was cremated and his wife is holding on to his ashes. She has some ridiculously romantic notion that when she dies their ashes will be blended together and spread out over some mountain glade or other. But if I ever get my hands on those ashes.... well, I like the narrator's idea of what he's going to do with his parent's ashes, only I'm thinking more of an outhouse. Yep. I understand spite.
