Bali may be different from other places that are usually filled with all the modernity, sophistication, and sparkling modern lights. But it is the nature of Bali itself that will amaze us. So pure. I think Bali doesn't need other gimmick things that are man-made. Everything is absorbed, including the authentic culture. They are all blended in this island.

I stayed there last October when it was 70 bucks a night! Now that tourism came, the price more than doubled! It's still a wonderful place..beautiful memories just as I remember :,) definitely coming back!! The rock bar has amazing teas!!

the resort area is just superficial in quality - it’s not the real bali outside of the resort areas - which is very much like a developing country in its pollution, traffic and trash everywhere

there’s literally piles of trash everywhere - anywhere outside of a tourist resort property - piles and pests and all you can’t drink the tap water - food sanitation is an issue - traffic with dilapidated narrow broken sidewalk is literally insanely dangerous and stressful just to walk around. - and the beach is just meh - truly she’s in a complete resort area - it’s not the real bali locals even are allowed to go

Hi Alina , Ayona resort is simply a once in lifetime experience and the luxury of the hotel is simply amazing and out of the world. Along side the spectacular natural beauty is really breathtaking and awesome. I am sure your have experienced the serenity and calmness of nature at its best. The villa was really fascinating masterpiece of art. The rock bar according to me is the best place for me as as an introvert to chill out as it offers an out of the world experience along with warm guest experience. Sorry, I'm not trying to disparage your musical choice, but throughout this video all that played in my brain was Movin On Up, the theme from the Jefferson's TV show. This is second floating breakfast, I recall you having at a beautiful local. It sure beats sleeping on a hard wooden railway bench, or even a bunk bed in a Vancouver hostel. You easily transition into the luxury lifestyle, and look like you fit right in. These resorts are spectacular, but the budget minded aren't staying there. Yep, I do believe I'm a slight bit (maybe a lot) envious, and a wee bit jealous. Thanks for showing what can be. It's good to be able experience the fulness of life and grab it by the tail, which is how you live your life. Thanks for sharing.

Would you consider Ayana the Indonesian Riviera? People have heard of course of the French and Mexican Rivieras. This beautiful stretch of coastline deserves to be better known. Looks like you had the time of your life in the resort. Everything is to a high order here and people who have a stereotyped view of what to expect from a Third World country will have to revisit them. Excellent video!
