Rising demand for vacation properties in Bang Krachao has attracted affluent individuals, along with an increase in new businesses. Many of them are non-residents of Bang Krachao. This surge in commercial activity has heightened traffic levels, posing a significant environmental risk to this once-pristine location. Road expansions, aimed at accommodating the growing number of visitors, lack proper oversight, jeopardizing the area's status as the city's green lung. On weekends, the market witnesses an influx of cars and buses carrying tourists, resulting in congested, narrow roads and frequent traffic jams. Despite my frequent visits, I've observed that cycling in the region can be particularly challenging, especially along its periphery. However, once you enter the inner zone, the experience becomes more enjoyable and safe for a leisurely bicycle excursion.

Most Thais usually board a ferry at Bangna Pier, which is bigger, safer and more convenient than the Klongtoey one. Just take BTS to Bangna Station and catch a motorbike taxi, Songtaw or taxi/Bolt to the pier.

Bangna is quite far from my place though, so it was more convenient for me to go from Klong toey but definitely good to know that there are more options - might try Bangna next time 😊🙏

Bangkrachao is not bangkok.It's belong to Samutprakarn, another province of thailand.It's suppose to be perimeter of bangkok.

Thai people say Khung Bang Krachao, or nickname Bangkok’s Green Lung. Khung = Bend of river Bang = Urban , City Krachao = A kind of Tree

Fischkampf ist Wettsport in Thailand, genau sowie Hahnenkampf. Deswegen, ein guter Kampffisch oder Kampfhahn sind sehr teuer. Es könnte ein Hahn kostet mehr Hunderttausend Baht sein.
