Don't Miss This Hidden Gem When Traveling to Bangkok 🇹🇭 (Ancient Thai Community)

Today I am exploring the ancient community Khlong Bang Luang which is located along one of the numerous canals in Bangkok. It is surprising to find such a calm and relaxing spot not far from the busy city center. I got there by boat from the Pratunam Phasi Charoen Pier which is practically next to the Paknam Phasi Charoen Temple. So if you're looking for a quiet afternoon away from all the hassle, I definitely recommend checking out this part of town!

This is a good memory from my childhood growing up in Bangkok in the 60's and 70's. I used to take the boat along the klongs to go shopping with my Mom. I love looking at the houses along the klongs and thought it would be so cool to live in one. You don't feel like you're in Bangkok at all. Glad you enjoy exploring places like this.

Wow you speak Thai pretty fluent. I've never considered riding a boat in any klong of BKK. 🙂Preservation in this area is spot on. Traditional life style of Thai and BKK , a community, a historic temple, and an abundance of art. I appreciate you helping me to recall my memories in this vicinity. Love you video and just subbed. Yeah it’s definitely worth a visit! I recommend going on a weekend since there will a traditional Thai puppet show at the artist house 😊

ขอแนะนำการเรียกคนไทยตามลักษณะอายุ..ถ้าเป็นคนที่อายุไม่ต่างจากคุณการเรียกพี่..คือการให้เกียรติ แต่ถ้าคนที่คุณเรียกในคลิปเป็นคนลุงที่มีอายุมาก(ที่นั่งเลื่อยไม้ไผ่อยู่..คุณต้องเรียกคนสูงอายุมาๆว่า*คุณตา = Kun-ta *..แต่ถ้าอยากให้เขาดูแข็งแรง..คุณควรเรียกเขาว่า*คุณลุง* = Kun-lung
