Travis, loved the old derby car and marbles. I hope you go back soon to the new dumpsites. My uncle was in the Korean War, he had a metal social security card, not like the sample one you found. Maybe they were given to veterans. That privy off Will’s back porch was crazy. That clay looked terrible to dig in, plus the tight location. Nice to see Trav Jr. along for the dig. Someone told me social security cards started 1938 so I’m thinking it’s right at the start of it.

That social security card may not be real old we use to sell them as kids in the 70s and stamp people's information into them since the paper copies would get messed up. Would get blanks through a magazine. Also sold grit newspapers among other things for walking money.
