You know, as much as I appreciate the work put into this mod (even if the story felt a bit too wattpad-y for my taste), I kinda think it's weird how chat was all like "aww she has a crush on Sam" and "cute" when Katrielle was stalking him, yet hate on Clint for doing the same (or, at least somewhat) to Emily. And Kat's stalking was on a way creepier level, she literally knew at what time he usually played the guitar, stole his old one, and wrote creepy notes about him... (and even kissed him without his consent, apparently)

I think the concept of this mod is really neat! I wish the writing was a little less weird/tighter. Most of the characters don’t really seem much like their canon selves and the whole Haley argument was really weird. The way no one seems to take any time to start accepting Kat is pretty strange considering how long it takes most of them to warm up to the farmer. Overall, I think the mod has a lot potential but just needs some editing and a little bit more attention to characterization and story flow.

The mod is indeed cute, I like the premise and Katrielle's design is nice, but I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt like the Haley/Katrielle argument was weird. Like, it gives similar-if not the same-energy as those arguments in those "not like other girls" self-insert wattpad fanfiction from 2016, especially since Haley is one of the most stereotypical girly-girls in the game. (And the fact that Kat used Haley's trauma surrounding her getting ditched by her parents just to win a petty argument didn't sit right with me either, but ANYWAY-)

I don't feel bad at all! 😆" despite her being portrayed as the sweet baby underdog that we're all supposed to cheer for was a bit icky. Did they expect us to go "yeah! Get that nasty other girl, she's clearly not humble and sweet like our queen Kat is since she's blond, wears pink and has a bit of an attitude! 😍" Honestly, she came off like more of a b*tchy diva than Haley, and that's saying something since she literally had her personality twisted to fit into the diva stereotype. Just smacks of Wattpad (Y/N) getting pitted against other girls/women to make her look better

I would call this more of a really dedicated self insert than a masterpiece, it’s definitely giving all powerful OC from a Wattpad fanfiction, but it’s pretty well done regardless and I respect the effort that went into making this so much.

TBH this mod is CLEAN. Freaking love the concept and the art is great. I wish I got more on what she knows about Willy and Lenore. That being said... I quite like the Sam romance, but the Abigail, Sebastian and Haley parts felt very "Mary Sue"-like and I think they kinda bring it up at the end where Kat mentions she has "eccentricities" that the other townsfolk don't have. Also where was my welcome party to the town? How was SHANE of all people gonna help out with her welcome party? lol that would make the "meet everyone" speedrun very easy.

No shade to the mod creator or the character, cuz they see, extremely lovely and a lot of aspects of this mod are very well made - that and Katrielle seems like a cute character and that whole void concept is super interesting. But I find it a bit of a pet peeve when characters in a story talk about shipping and seem to just - instantly like X character without getting to really know them or learn who they are. Especially when shes literally like...walking on water? And teleporting without the use of a totem or anything? Like - would you not question something like that? It just feels a little fanfic-y to me. This isn't to say they can't be interested in her at ALL mind you - I think maybe writing it in a different way could probably help.

Good concept, but I got to the Sam part and checked out. Imagine if this was taken in a different direction, like if Kat accidentally becomes a Mothman-esque cryptid, who just wanted to watch events, but is mistaken for a harbinger after the green rain, so the villagers become scared of her. Or she could be the author of the Stardew Wiki and give quests to you to contribute to it. Or if she absolutely must have a romantic interest, either make it a tragic longing for someone who can't perceive her, or a dark yandere storyline. Or, you know... Sam actually sees her before developing a crush....

Personally think that it fits Haley pre-3 hearts, turned up to the most negative 11, but still somewhat rooted in canon. Considering the girl tells us "if it weren't for those clothes you'd actually be cute" when we first meet her, Haley definitely comes across as someone who WOULD mock your appearance over an accidental photo bomb if she doesn't know, and consequently doesn't care, about you. Though I do wish we got some development on Kat and Haley. Like maybe after Kat "moves in", and we reach Haley's more favorable heart events, Kat does apologize for taking things too far during their fight. I don't feel the characterization was off, just lacking development that Stardew veterans have come to expect of her.

At 13:00 minutes in the video Lenore is a name of an Egnar Ellen Poe Poem that I read and I'm pretty sure it's about a man losing a women that made him fill whole again. Or something in those lines. I just wanted to point that out cause it seemed interesting.

As far as I know, Lenore isn’t the name of a poem, but a character in the poem The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. I recently analyzed the poem-it’s about loss. The main character (unnamed, presumed to be an older man) expresses the loss of his “angel,” a woman named Lenore. It is heavily implied she dumped him or died, as she left him instead of the other way around. During the poem, he clings on to the idea that Lenore will return to him, as when he hears knocking on his windowsill, he willfully believes it is Lenore. Upon checking it out, it is actually a raven that he ends up yelling at to “return his lost Lenore.” I believe the name of Willy’s wife isn’t coincidental here.
