I'm 71 and the way you wipe looks way too aggressive for my thinning skin. Would the TearRestore Neutrawipe Eco with Manuka Honey wipes be effective with gentle strokes?

I have been using Noheva Tea Tree wipes, but not with coconut oil for about a year. They work well for me. I only use them in the morning and then use a foam in the evening. I feel like the wipes are abrasive enough that they might start to bother me if I use them twice a day. Going to give the ones with coconut oil a try next time I order.

Thanks for sharing! I am the same way... twice a day was too much for me.

I use the Optase wipes. They are a good size, so I cut them in half and use one for each eye.

But when is the best time to use eyelid wipes in the morning before or after shower or at night before I sleep?

Is the Zocular wipe the best for blephartis? My doctor prescribed me Lid n Lash with 5% tea tree oil. Maybe Zocular is better?

Can you please comment on the new META AR glasses and what you think their impact would be on eye health?

Hi Dr EyeGuy! I live in the desert, where it's very dry, and dusty. :/ I have a couple eye related questions: First, I've been using witch hazel pads for a long time, and also a spray bottle with witch hazel for more frequent application when at the screen or reading. I've found it works OK, but I'm getting older, and things are changing... I think that none of the products you mention have witch hazel in the ingredients? Also, I've developed quite a few skin tags on the eyelids in recent years; wondering if any of these treatments or ingredients might be helpful in reducing them? The tags sometimes feel like they are putting pressure on the actual eyelids, so that they seem to be causing some pressure/discomfort. I also recently experienced a 'chemical burn' in my left eye when my home help aid left a considerable residue of Comet cleanser on my bathroom sink handles, and I accidentally splashed some into my left eye when I was washing my face afterwards. This caused me a lot of problems, and as of three months later I still feel like I am experiencing about a 20% loss of vision in the left eye, plus a lot of dryness and irritation. Any comments/advice about that situation? (Aside from dismissing the cleaner, which I did, as I had already asked her several times to be more careful with the cleanser, to no avail...) When I was recently at the opthamologist he gave me a sample of 'Refresh Relieva' drops, which seem to give temporary relief for dryness, but unfortunately the tiny size of the sample and its poor dropper design are such that I'm not able to get enough in the eye, as it's hard to aim, etc... So I don't really know if I should bother to pick up any more of it. Fortunately, he said he couldn't see any sign of permanent damage due to the Comet burn. I may have to get a second opinion if things don't improve soon... Thanks! PS: Gonna order some of the Noheva Tea Tree w/ coconut oil wipes, give them a try.

Do you prefer wipes over washes? My doc has me using Zocular wash.
@DrEyeGuy11 күн бұрын
I actually prefer wash for myself. I like both, but my eyes feel a little better when using eye wash.

@@DrEyeGuy I found the same. I think wipes are great on the go, but less friction for me with the wash.

I use the Cornea Care "Rise" wipes. They're smaller than some other wipes I have tried. They have hyaluronic acid and tea tree oil.

I’ve tried many of these, my dry eye & blurring is bad with most, I have the mites & clogged oil pockets, which one would you really use if you could only use one? I tried Qust Demodex especially for the mites, but hated them due to irritation & dryness, won’t be using! Thanks for int information 👍🙌

The sensitivity can be different in anybody. If you are sensitive to even the small dosages of tea tree oil, you could try wipes with manuka honey in it, like the neutrawipe eco.

I tried the TearRestore with the tea tree in it and my eyes were swollen every morning . Not only were my eye lids swollen but under my eyes were swollen really bad. I used 2 boxes before someone mentioned I could be having a reaction to the tea tree oil. I stopped using them and the swelling went away.

Thank you for sharing. You are not alone. There are some people that are sensitive to even the smallest dosages of tea tree oil.

What about Cliradex? I have not used it. I did buy the last wipes that you advertise in the video in the bigger box. I cannot tell that they have helped. In fact my eyes have just been so irritated. They are like that all the time anyway, but maybe they’re a little worse, my eyes are red. They run water. I really deal with misery some days I have biff -itis and dry eyes. I just wish I could find the right wipes. I am trying different ones. If you use a wipe, I noticed the list of cleansers so if I’m dealing with dry eyes and blepharitis what exactly should I be doing, I have got to get some relief. This has been going on forever since she really never changes Her recommendations is normally refresh which I know is good but if it’s not helping, I need to find out what will help me. What do you think about Cyclosporine? she gave me a prescription for that and I have not been using it like I should but give me your thoughts on that particular prescription. Thank you so much.
