Phenomenal finds today Tyler, and Owen. That snag was an amazing find. Now that's going to be a treasure hunt in all that tangled mess. The round piece with the gears on it would have been from a large machine with belts on it. I can picture the machine, but I can't remember what it's called. Great haul today and good seeing Owen. You’re going to need to have a metal platform welded on the bow of your boat to stabilize the trolling motor. Since your boat is aluminum be sure you get someone experienced with aluminum, not just a buddy with a welder. I would spray it with bedliner spray so it isn’t slick when wet. That trolling motor is a beast 😂. We have a very similar boat that we have had for over 20 years now and I should look at replacing the carpet in it. Otherwise it’s been a great boat. Would love to upgrade to a 4 stroke motor for it.

23:31 you said you need to fix the trolling motor platform again. You should use angle iron/ aluminum over the top corner of the platform. 2"x2"x1/8" for about 2/3rds of the distance towards the point of the bow. Screw into the top tail of the boat and fish into the platform. I would put a screw every 4-6".
