Thanks for the video! I do a 14 mile commute in pedal assist 4 each day. I'm about 200 miles in and it's amazing! My commute is pretty flat with a muddy patch next to a river. Today I hit a giant pot hole on a bridge and somehow I was okay. I recommend this bike to everyone and anyone who will listen 😂

I bought it I'm super happy with it! I didn't have any issues. It's quality and they didn't cheap out on anything. I use pedal assist 4 cruising at 16mph. I get around 14 miles to a charge on my daily commute. Its a mix of street and bumpy trail next to a river. I only use throttle to cross busy intersections or to get out of the way of bad drivers. I really only am changing the grips to have room for accessories and the seat post. The seat is comfortable but on long commutes my bottom is a little sore so I'm going with the zoom suspension seat post.

So I've had the go traxx r1 for about 3 months now. With a 40 mile round trip commute 5 days a week. Bike is definitely a weekend warrior bike. First month I went through 2 screens and rear tire blow out. Now 3 months in and the folding mechanism randomly comes open on rides. It does get great mileage and is spunky. Over all I'd give it a 3/10.
@scotthardesty2 ай бұрын
Yikes! That mechanism coming open is a problem. You are definitely putting that bike thru the paces with all those miles daily. If you don't want flat tires, put FlatOut in the tires. I have ridden over 6k miles on various bikes with zero flat tires because I put the FlatOut in every bike I have. FlatOut Tire Sealant Sportsman Formula: amzn.to/3HhtBRS

As mentioned in another comment, the newer version with the color LCD doesn't provide a way to set wheel diameter to 20". I contacted Gotrax customer support and they claim "Because this tire is 2.6, it is larger than the regular tire diameter. The actual wheel diameter exceeds 20 inches, so the data here are based on 22 inches."

I really want this bike, i’m a 13 year old and I live in a place meant for bikes and ebikes (especially cruiser bikes). But my dad would never buy it for me. I already have a regular cruiser bike but a ebike would help a lot. It’s very bumpy on our roads and it’s trashy so it slows down the bike a lot. If i were to guess, the fastest i’ve went is 15 mphs which takes me going on a driveway and then going down (with the potential to get hit by a car). So I really like this bike. I could probably get this bike if I didn’t already have a bike (if i bought it then it would be my first ebike). So this would be a really useful bike. So if I do in the future need a bike, it probably won’t be this one sadly because there might be newer and cheaper models of this bike that are better, and it wouldn’t be as fun because right now I have a ton of time on my hands as a 13 year old. So i’m just saying how sad I am to not get this bike. Note: this looks like a really cheap and good bike.

Thanks for commenting. I remember when I was young and used to dream about owning certain BMX bikes that I saw when I was younger. Eventually, I did end up getting the BMX bike I wanted (e-bikes where not invented when I was your age). You are correct, by the time you are able to purchase this bike they should have new and improved version. You can always check to see if someone is selling this used for a much cheaper price. I wish you luck!
