I just recently had this conversation with someone in person who seen my car and asked. For me personally and some other car guys this is what we do! I wear shirts from target not balmain or other high end brands I don’t go out clubbing and buying bottles, I don’t use dr*gs etc. Im not knocked anyone who does but I don’t value those things! I’m a simple guy who just likes to enjoy good company travel alittle and drive the living …. Out of my cars! I also have no kids, and for comparison my sister pays almost $2k per month for daycare! My responsibilities are just keeping a roof over my head, building wealth for myself and driving like a mad man. And yea good credit and a decent pay helps as well! Bro I went out and almost fainted when I seen how much my friends paid for a few bottles and they do this every other week. Over $1k!!!!!!! But in the end we all do what we enjoy and that’s it.

Also work on your credit rebuild your credit by paying off your debt, have good credit card usage (keep your usage under 30 percent of your credit limit) or pay it off completely if you can, understand the difference between payment day and reporting day/week and if you want low rates on financing a car try a credit union I’ve heard of some giving 2% apr and like speed said you got to balance what you want vs what you need and if you can have someone who has good credit add you as an authorized user that will boost your credit up too but you still need your own credit history it’s a process that won’t happen in one day

Just got my 2024 M340I in portimao blue, upgraded leather with the blue stitching, adaptive suspension and a couple other things. It’s been a week and I am loving it so far. Never got the chance to test drive one with the adaptive suspension but it was worth the leap. 100%

@mike...the reason your steering wheel is "shiny" is because the leather absorbs the hand oils over time. If you want the oem/factory fresh matte look try chemical guys leather cleanser. It doesnt leave the wheel shiny ans breaks down the oil. Did it on mine and it came out super matte and clean

Really nice and tastefully modded. Just enough to stand out but not over the top. I've got a mineral white M340i on the way (waiting for a boat at the port) With basically every option plus the m-sport exhaust, carbon interior trim upgrade, etc. I've already got an AA downpipe in the garage waiting for when it arrives. I came REALLY close to getting an F80 M3 but hard to find the specs I wanted and they're basically as expensive as the new M3's. Also, X-drive for me is a must-have.

💯 exactly modded very lightly. Imo apex wheels should be deemed OEM at this point 😭 . F80 is a great car the two don’t compare but for daily all around use m340!!!

Dream car right here. Looks good, practical, low maintenence (for a bmw), and most importantly, cost-effective.

In terms of looks comment, I think there's a space for both the 340i and M3/M4. BMW has had a mission to sell more 40s (non true M cars - M140, M240, X3 M40i, X4 M40i, etc.). They've been making that B58 for 10years now, with over 25 different applications, S58s are only sold in 6 cars.

OEM + is the only way to go imo. My G82 M4C looks like it has zero mods to the casual, outside of looking a bit lowered. The M3/M4 with xdrive comes a with the 4x4 vibe especially in the front with a lot of wheel gap. That is a very clean M340i including everything I've seen here in SoCal.

The main thing I miss is the physical shifter. I love how in pre-2023 BMWs you can shift with either paddles or the shifter.

I have a 2023 M340i xdrive same color and set up as this one. Except I have black leather with blue stitching. The launch is nice and pull all the way up to 155 mph! Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S is the only tire for this car.

Yeah I agree, though I do have to add that I like the rest of the diffuser much more on the LCI than on the pre-LCI. Much more aggressive. I recently saw a render somewhere of the LCI without that diffuser part cutting up into the bumper and it was awesome, looked like it should have looked from the factory. I'd still prefer the LCI when it comes to overall looks, though I would prefer the pre-LCI when it comes to interior, especially when considering the missing buttons

For the steering wheel, get Gtechniq Tri Clean. It’ll take 90% of the shine out and it’s safe for all interior surfaces. Then get ColourLock leather protector. Trust me. You’ll thank me later!
