I find it very interesting how the new Little Nightmares game has tapped into the old concept art, like LN2's giant baby concept art. And I don't know if it was intentional on SuperHorrorBro's part, but his episode of The Sounds of Nightmares being based on a bathhouse, and there also being a bathhouse in old concept art, really excited me!

My guess is that it's just a thing of delayed effect of the light and Low initiating an animation that takes precedence over crouching.

Personally for me I think that when the lady changes the children into gnomes, she traps part of their soul into those dolls she cares for. I think she cares for the children but can't let them leave so when some go wandering rather than kill them she instead trap a part of them to keep them safe. This may also be who the shadow children are as their dolls may have been broken meaning they don't have a vessel now but they do still have the porcelain masks

Honestly, never made that connection, but I do think that theory is genius. In the runaway dlc, we have no idea where any of these shadow children came from. Perhaps it’s similar to the Thin man’s case, like how when he steals a child, a glitched version of themselves is left behind. Whatever power the two have, it seems likely that they have the ability to separate a part of someone from their actual selves. The weird difference with that is, for the lady, it seems like children turned to gnomes kept part of their “true” selves, the separated shadows acting quite hostile in game. However, with the case of the thin man, it seems it’s the glitch left behind that pertains its original personality, whereas the empty vessel without its glitched side acts ruthless and cold (like six in the ending of the second game.) I could see it going so many ways, but it truly is interesting to theorize about.

I’m so used to theorists who use sketchy evidence, or even cherry-pick evidence to fit the narrative they want the story to go in without ever acknowledging whether the evidence they used can be trusted 100%. Jord, have you noticed that in some parts of the trailers (such as 0:22 when Baby bursts her hand through the wall), there are stone statues of adults, all looking like they are trying to block the glare of a light. Now isn't that familiar... Thats all I really wanted to point out, but the slide clip is intriguing as well. Overall, great theory, I can't wait to hear your next ideas!

This is barely related to the video at all, but I just still find it funny that when I was deciding to buy Little Nightmares it was originally a dilemma between picking either it or Mass Effect Andromeda, and I was originally going for the latter since I'd just played the trilogy and had little else other than an Outside Xbox video about the former. Needless to say, I'm forever glad past me made the right choice and it's delightful seeing such a quaint series come so far.

I did found strange why they cared so much about the gender of a massive porcelain being(the pain if the skin breaks for real should be worse than glass for flesh tissue), and you have a very valid lead to justify it. She might be either Her(the Lady's) eyes outside of the Maw or some suppressed non conscious part like an Inner Child.

I honestly assumed that Monster Baby is some form of powerful entity similar to the Signal Tower from LN2 from both her size, and the fact that she was based off an old concept that was likely meant to be used in the Signal Tower level. Though I’m not going to be confident in that hypothesis or any others until we are given more information. I also think that her eye can turn people to stone judging by all of those statues that look and are placed suspiciously like frozen people, though this eye could be a somewhat different model of the Maw/Nest eyes that works slightly differently. Probably for gameplay purposes since being slowed down as soon as the beam hits you would likely make chase sequences unreasonable difficult. I hope you know that I’m not dissing your hypothesis or anything, I’m just spitballing alongside you and seeing what sticks. Us LN fans got to work together! 😸

Interesting theorie i do think the monster baby was on the maw at some point cuz if you look at one of the gameplay clips you will see an eye just like the eyes in the maw but its not somesort of mashine. Its the monster babys behaviour because for some reason he knows that he can put his eye in that hole and its clearly not a mashine. cuz exactly when he hears the floor going under he imedieatly reaches for us. meaning that he knows how the eyes work correctly so he has to been on the maw at some point am i right? I think baby monster might be the little girl in picture who was with Lady, she also had yellow raincoat, just like Six and she seems to obsess with that girl the most, as her doll, it makes sense. Remind you, girls eyes arent shown in picture. Yellow raincoat definitely has history. Also babys clothes looks similar to that girls clothes so yeah.

Well it is very hard to say? The North Wind or the Mirror Man could be her boss? It would make a lot of since if that it the case hear since the North Wind would be the boss of the desert and the Mirror Man in the mirror world? I did wonder why the Lady had so many dolls do since she hates kids so much and is willing to kill them off to keep herself young and pretty forever. And we do know that she oust the kids to feed the Gusted to them and turn them into Nome's to keep the Maw moving all over the world. I also think that she can turn the kids into shadow kids to keep herself save from intruders like the Run Away Kid. Its very hard to tell at these M of time. Until the game comes out, we wont know?

Okay so if you listen to new audio series they do directly talk about what we can only assume is Little nightmares 3 Noone tells Otto of her nighmare which was she was inside "a stone giant" which can be linked to the baby. Then she talks about how inside this giant there were shadow children controlling it as the big cogs almost played a song as they went on and on like the beat of drums then towards the end of the account she says there was someone who looked important like she was the keeper of the giant and she "had her skin pulled back so tight the only part of her that was human was her eyes". So in conclusion you saying the baby is a vessel? is 100% likely

I genuinely guessed what you were going to assume at the start of it, however I don't think she was controlling it right then an there, as the lights turning off alerts her and she never gets back to what she was doing because she had six to deal with, so I imagine that the dolls do infact have a connection to thw monster baby, but I just can't yet grasp it. Well, I'm sure we'll get more evidence to back us up when the game comes out!

I just think the Iframe was just too quick that it didn't trigger the affect from working. In the new demo if shows a bunch of people in that area turned to stone and I'm pretty sure the baby is responsible

hey jord, loved your video, super fantastic. i have a theory about the lady, we saw in the first game that lady is breaking all the mirrors and we see a mirror in the latest game trailer, so what if it was the mirror monster was there in first part, which showed the lady an ugly version of herself and thats why she is breakin the mirrors to get rid of him.

You say the eye is connected to the lady? I say it's connected to Mono. That door he is stuck behind has a similar eye "emoji" but also... the way that kid travels through the mirror is oddly like Mono's ability, too. The lady is long gone, thanks to Six, BUT... Six is still there and I have a theory that she'll be one of the big baddies they have to face.

This is a good theory but hmm what if someone was actually inside the giant baby? If someone was controlling it and if it is porcelain then the inside is hollow. Either it’s being controlled by fueling it with the children’s souls. Or there is another figure inside running it that we will eventually have to face once the monster baby is defeated or destroyed.
