A few takes on this. #1 Just because they have a fast enough bike doesn’t mean they have the skill to chase and catch you. How man terrible cop drivers have we seen in cars? Lastly, I love riding straight on highway runs. I like the twisties too, but I’m just in my lane chillin on the 2 hour rides. Feeling the air, watching people watching me, hearing that purr. etc. Been riding 40 years and I ended for 35. Love it all.

That's wild and awesome that S1000RR for the State Trooper. Also fun times man! Yeah the joys and "joys" or riding long distances on the highway, it's sometimes nice to cover kms/miles more quick to get places. But the scenic routes through villages and towns and nature definitely mark higher on the scale of riding pleasure. I like both though, but then again I am 2 years into riding only so. 😆

I have a '14 Street Triple 675 and a '16 Speed Triple 1050. We had a few of the guys in our group test ride a 660 and they were less than impressed. I personally rather go find myself a 765 or even an older 675...or like you were saying, taking a 765 RS and fairing kit it.

Drove the 660 Daytona a few weeks ago, really nice but felt way to smooth? Was 4-5 degrees celsius so didn’t do much corners but couldn’t really feel the road. Good in one way ofc, but as a new rider ut felt weird.. Coming from a kawa zx4rr the 660 felt like a marshmallow, but a torque full one😅

The police protocol calls for the officer to be stiff unlike a hoolagen that can drag knee in public, if anybody hasn't noticed that the only riders that get caught are those that have been entrapped, its called entrapment and without it even a ninja 400 will outrun police and their radio, not even a helicopter will survive a chace if not for the spiritually assisted entrapment.🤘
