I found the rarest Honda Rune - The #1

Cool video man!! Keep up the good work, you have great taste in motorcycles. I bought a Rune a few years ago, dream bike! And get this, afterwards I noticed that it was serial number 12! I got the last disciple. She is a dream!

Love the lines of the bike a one off tech marvel from Honda tried to explain that to my son who said he doesn't think he's seen one and he's 33 years old I've seen maybe three or four since they first appeared and I'm an avid rider but told him they are more of a collectors item now since Honda no longer produces them now because of the price to manufacture and the lost revenues it took to produce they don't even make the parts from what I've been told but would love to have one in my garage just to look at .

Absolutely, the blue one I rode in the photo belongs to a family member and it’s number 49. The fact that Honda pushed through and made this bike and not left it as a concept of what they could do like many other manufacturers is just commendable plus, it’s a Honda meaning, although they don’t make parts for them and unlike many super cars that are one of a kind but also not very reliable, The Honda Rune is a head turner and you have a really really reliable one of a kind motorcycle. On the surface it is all unique but on the engine aspect, it shares a lot with the Valkyrie in case one was to need it. I cant wait to go back on Saturday and see what it goes for at the auction.

My 2004 rune is 226. The 2005 numbers started with 100. There is a lot less produced than people think.

It’s crazy, as I was in the auction, The auctioneer said that there are 750 in the Us alone. But there’s really no way of knowing and that’s good and bad at the same time because I really want vin #1!

@@SEN1Media black. When a rare collector bike comes across your path at a cost you can afford, you either buy or wish you did. If it was new and I was ordering it , I would have ordered blue. But that's the least of my decision. I'm blessed to have one.

@@jimmeyer9075 I totally agree, Black is the only color I have not seen in person up to this point, Luckily number 49 in blue one is already in the family. Im keeping my eye out for the next time I come across another, it always feels like the first time i'm seeing one.

Does yours still have the manufacturing tag next to the stamped vin number on the steering head. Number 504 was built 04/04. Number 226 was built 11/03. I thought it would be fun to see how many was built per month. So fare it's looking like 46.
