@Best Person thank you for your comment. I’ve fallen away from praying and reading my Bible and it’s been hard to get back into a routine again. I listened to a sermon the other day about getting your fire back and the speaker mentioned revelations and the Luke warm church and Jesus’s instructions. “Go back to your first love,” the things you used to do. I was saved by listening to the radio. Specifically Erwin Lutzer. On my way to work his 20 min segment was on every morning and I would argue with him because I was very liberal minded and agreed with what the world said. One day scales were lifted from my eyes and I saw truth when I was listening to the radio pastors, repented and was born again. Well what changed immediately was that I was hungry to hear sermons and read my Bible but I wanted nothing to do with secular music. I just wanted sermons and the word of God. Your comment mentions your church and pastor Jack Hibbs and I was reminded that I would also listen to him on my way back home from work and I loved his sermons. Your comment reminded me of my first love. I am going to listen to all the pastors I once listened to that anchored the word of God in my heart. Jack Hibbs was one. Thank you 🙏 ❤

You can watch it on KZbin. The title of the message is Cross this Jordan. Jack preached an amazing message about leaving your old battles behind. Leaving in the history books of God and to saturate yourself in the promises of God. There's a beauty on the other side of diffculty. He ends the sermon by leaving us with marching orders for 2023 to press into God Psalm 23:1-6 (a bible verse that I memorised in Awanas as a child). Then Jack lead our entire congregation in prayer. It was inspiratonal and renewing promise. God bless you. 🤍

@@marialewman9208 I'm glad you had the opportunity to attend a few services at our church. If you should visit again, I would like to meet you. Pastor Jack is an intellectual, who dives deep into the word of God. Here's a cool backstory about Jack abiding in the Lord's will and the miracle that God performed for him. My old pastor, Greg Laurie, led Jack to Christ. Shortly after accepting Christ, the Lord spoke to Jack telling him to minister to a lady. He really didn't feel like doing it but, did it anyway. While he was speaking, he noticed that his stuttering issue dissappeared. He stuttered his whole life and from that point forward he stuttered no more. Anything is possible in God’s will when you are faithful servant of God.

I watched your other video on how things were falling apart for you in New Orleans and you felt empty inside with your then boyfriend and successful restaurant. But it's like the Lord knew you better than you knew yourself and what you truly needed.
