I Found Weird Lights Behind My House Part 2

I went out during the day to investigate, and I left something behind to let whoever is coming back here know that I know they're around. I'll also be getting a trail cam soon.

It looks like where someone used to come hang out and most likely you never saw the lights because the leaves on the trees kept the sun from powering the solar battery pack, but now that the leaves have fell....the sunlight can get to it???

Probably, but I'm concerned about the somewhat fresh beer case. Means someone has been there recently, and most likely at night.

You could contact your realtor and ask them to speak to the seller agent. Seller agent could ask previous owners if they know of this spot.

People would love that spot for a cool little backyard campout spot. There is nothing strange that I can tell. There are cans and fox in the woods. Yep.

The reason I don’t say kids is because I had a hide out spot too but we would leave a bunch of trash and stuff behind. Normally kids are more messy and they don’t care about trashing a forest. it seems like someone set up that area with the lights, chair, fire pit, beer. Just creepy cuz you know they come out at night which is why there’s lights… maybe its someone who lives in the neighborhood, or a hangout spot for someone homeless. You should set up cameras to see if you can catch anything!

General consensus is the old owner set it up. Not sure why because the ground is a step decline so I couldn't imagine walking out there all the time, but maybe he liked to. What's bothering me is the fresh beer box that's not degraded from all the rain we've had in the last month.

First thing I would have done would be to pick up and remove all that stuff as a kind of warning so whoever is doing that will know that they have been noticed. See if it happens again.

They were using the rake to clean up leaves so It wasnt noisy while they were hanging out.

The can looked like a Sprite can and was pretty new. Didn't see much of anything else besides the beer box

Yeah it was a red fox and I'm upset I didn't catch him on camera. He was rolling around in the leaves like a dog does.

Thanks everyone for watching. I've got some good suggestions on what to do next or look out for. Waiting for the trail cam to come in, but I'm really hoping that by messing with the site it stops whoever is coming out there from hanging out in that spot. I really just want to make stupid videos to make you laugh, not worry about people camping in my backyard, especially since I have a family. If there's any updates I'll be sure to let everyone know. Update: My trail cams finally came in, but it's raining today. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to get back out there and set them up and see if there's been anymore activity.

I'd set up game cameras and see if anyone comes back. You might see some cool critters too.

I think the old owner may have set this up. But the fresh beer box that wasn't tampered by the rain makes me worried about squatters.

That's the agreement, but still ended up finding more beer bottles all over my property. They're glass and the labels were peeled off so it's hard to date them.

So far I don't see or hear any sings of any other life out there, no birds or rodents, not even any bugs? What planet are you on? (grins). I'd dismantle those lights if this was on my property. Well, you volume was so low I could hardly hear you talking then you turned up the volume and I hear some normal crickets I think? But I still don't see any birds, rodents or bugs and no even a small breeze. Your back woods are CREEPY to say the least.

Birds have disappeared mostly since winter is coming. There's still bugs too but not as many since it's getting cold at night. There's wildlife, we see deer, foxes, wild dogs all the time. I even ran into a fox at the end of the video but I didn't get it on camera like I hoped to.

I think your rap too tight and too paranoid. You should make your own trail through the woods so you can do a nature walk and get some exercise. Instead of being inside by the computer all the time. You can actually put beehives out there and learn a new trade. Have you even looked into the people that do little stealth bug out trailers off the bridge. Or even get you a little four wheeler so you can play. You have a beautiful little piece of property. There's all kind of things you can do to enjoy it. You can actually cut all the trees down and sale them. And plant some more trees like pine trees or maybe even a Christmas tree form. I have a friend that does that. Not only is it good for his heart every year. Christmas spirit. He gets a chunk of change. At the right time of year to pass on more Christmas spirit. You're very blessed to have that property ....

The way I see it is that I'd rather be over paranoid and over protective with a wife, kid, and pets in the house than just brush off the fact that someone is clearly in my backyard. And I wouldn't even think about cutting down any trees unless it was necessary. We're already taking so much from nature, I'd rather not take anymore just for cash.
