I Frustrated a Tiny Baby Raccoon

I looked out my door and saw this little baby hobbling around my driveway with no parents in sight. She isn't to keen on me right now, as you can tell. It is likely her mother was trapped and transported away to a reserve to protect the chickens. She will be nurtured to sustainability and released back into the wild at a animal reservation.

This little fella stayed with me for three days and then went to live with a wildlife rescue foster home where they were already caring for another orphaned Raccoon. They were brought up together and released into the wild at a nature preserve together 5 months later, which I attended to say goodbye!

Whenever they act aggressive as babies just ignore it and cuddle them, scratch their back and neck gently and let them burrow their face against you and they will start purring. They don't mean it when they growl, they are truly just so scared and desperate they don't know what to do. These little guys need love more than almost any baby animal, such needy little things.
