If anyone came across this video and wonder that this helps here is my experience. I started to play on controller for 2 months now (20+yrs of mnk never touch roller). This exercise helps me to learn how to control my right thumb. Not aiming wise just to get used to the movement I have to make to aim and track. The aiming part is different, you need to aim at the dummy's arm, if you are hitting headshots then your crosshair is too high. With constant aiming and shooting you get lost in it and only just rely on your instinct instead, which is bad. Try to set a goal for certain thing to improve each run. I use this to warm up almost every day for 2 months. My avg accuracy is 0.5. Did hit 0.6 on some good days but always 0.5. Which I think for an average guy is good enough. At first mine was 0.4, so if anyone is discouraged about your accuracy, don't. mine was worst. It's boring so just put some music on. I do this routine around 30mins a day then hop on 1v1 for another 30mins.

What would be the best way to position your thumb? After long periods of playing r5 I tend to cramp in my palm is that just due to not being used to long play time and stress on my hands?Btw great vid never realized how good just stand still shooting could help with tracking started at 47% first round now 2 rounds in im at 52%

whatever feels comfortable and puts the least amount of stress on you. everyone's hand is different. do what works for you.

@@BalvarineFPS got it,been doing it for an hour or so now I’m at 62% ads, 82% with the hit scan and the tree I went from 39 to 45% so it definitely works I’ll be on the look out for more vids

Is it just me or does r5r feel different sensitivity wise from the real game?

Also do you recommend ps5 or ps4 for controllers to use? You mention koyful a lot and from a google search it looks like he uses ps5 controllers nowadays. With r5r, I have to use steam controller input for ps5 controllers but the ps4 controller is plug and play without it so it might be closer to the real thing. Do you feel that the steam controller input would be messing with my sensitivity even more as well?
