Love this build. Makes my 1970 Datsun restore look easy. I am using 90s brakes and steering and front suspension. Similar concept to yours. Keep up the work!!!

Not sure it this comment will come too late but there may be some joints where you’re thinking spot welds that may actually lend themselves quite well to panel bond. I’ve used it in a number of places on a VW bus I’m restoring. What I like about this option is the adhesive can be spread along the entire joint which effectively acts like a seal as well as the physical connection.
