I feel like the "someone" never bought gifts. She just searched through her room heap for unopened stuff and then went and got the gift bags and cards from that room they showed. She was young and selfish but she chose to be there so she should of had to participate the same.

I did gray icing for "opossum" cookies, and the secret is to use decorating gel rather than the liquid food coloring, and to add a tiny bit of blue to balance if it comes out too lavender-looking (seems counterintuitive but it works). But also I used vanilla buttercream as the base so that may have contributed too.

First of all, I was very happy that this video was almost 1/2 hr! Questions: why did the staff or playmates in the house not use a carpet cleaner ? I remember Bridget saying in the season 5 commentary that she had to return the pink laptop because it actually belonged to playboy. Did that happen to any of your gifts ? Maybe in a future video you could reconnect with the family and see how they're all doing and their recollection of being on the show? That's selfish that someone couldn't help shop and wrap gifts for that family. Were staff not allowed to leave at Christmas also to see their family? I always watch this episode at Christmas!

I love how much of your personality got shown in this episode. I noticed the Disney "Christmas village", especially the monorail, and your Animal Kingdom sweater. And you and Bridgets love for Christmas, giving joy to others (the charity, and I read the comment about the staff playing in the snow and pushing the guests to partake in the fun as you honestly wanting as many as possible to get to experience it), how you always think of your animals as family. And when you made the joke about "great minds think alike" we saw how you were totally fine sharing the spotlight and truly didnt think anything of it. It didnt detract from the thought behind and your selfworth wasnt (isnt) tied to being special or better than anyone else. I know you feel the show rarely show your true personality, (and of course my perspective now is colored by what I know now) but I think you shine in this episode. ❤

A few years back my kids dad passed and his company he worked for did Christmas for us the year he passed (they were 3 and 5 when he passed) and someone dressed up as santa. This was another one of my favorite episodes. I always wondered why there was only 1 Christmas episode shown in 5 seasons with you girls. And you’re right! If they were going to show one Christmas episode, it should’ve been an E! Special. It’s absolutely amazing to see yours and Bridget’s hearts wrapping all of those lovely gifts for the family that was affected by a house fire. Something super funny is my husband when we had our first Christmas dating got me a playboy bunny belly ring and shirt that I opened in front of my parents. And what makes it worse is after almost 18 years of marriage we were discussing it and I told him how weird it was because it was smoking. And he said no it was NOT all horrified and I said yep. I'll prove it I still have it in a box and I was right lol!! We laugh at how aweful that was. He also got me a cd and the best smelling lotion. After we were married awhile we tried to find a meaningful gift for each other and he found that lotion again and I cried when I smelled it because it smelled like when we first started dating. Aww, I liked the gingerbread house. I prefer to think of it as "homemade looking" instead of bootleg. (Makes me feel better about my terrible gingerbread houses that way! LoL) Edited to add: OMG, I loved American Girl dolls for the exact same reason: the teeny tiny accessories! Omg! I LOVED the victoria secret clothes. Most of my wardrobe came from there for the longest time and i was crushed when they got rid of it. I remember placing a big order during their close out sale. They had a few bad things happen at once that caused them to have to downsize and that's what they chose to nix. It was such good quality that i still wear those clothes to this day and even passed some down to my daughter (teen) and niece.

How did the girlfriends learn about all the rules… like the 9pm curfew, being required to sit at Hef’s table & not leave him during parties and having to stay at the mansion on Christmas? Was there a contract you signed? Did they sit you down and go over all the rules with you before you agreed to be a girlfriend? It seems like there were a lot of them to just have them sprung on you when the situation occurred. Maybe you could do a video on it.

After reading Holly's book, I would say you weren't really clued in to them. It seems like you kind of had to rely on the other girlfriends giving you the info, or make a mistake and get publicly berated. This seemed to play into the manipulative aspect of moving in, pitting the girls against eachother, etc.

Everyone tried to make the arrangement seem as attractive as possible until after a girlfriend moved in, and even then they would only find out as it came up, ie. The first time they want to go out: they're told to be back by 9, in the lead up to Xmas: oh btw you have to stay here, etc. It seems like they would slowly pile on the rules over time so that girls would be too invested in the lifestyle by that time to want to leave.

I live in Newport now and I moved from Las Vegas so I relate so much to your back and forth drives!
