Nothing better than a throbbing little beast between your legs! I've sort of ridden with Andrew before, but never had a ride on one. I'd like to though. But could never own one. I'm having a few flashbacks to several Cranky Adventurous moments we've had before on these roads watching this.

Nice one CC, good of you to pay it back, like you say it's good to help out, I'd definitely have one as a second bike as they remind so much of the classics I used to ride all the time, RSM8.

Thanks Bro. It's great to be in such a world-wide community who are supportive and lean towards helping each-other out. Yeah reminds me a lot of bikes I drooled over in my teens. RSM8.

Did a day tour with mates on Enfields like the one you rode. It was fun but we were all very glad to get back on our own bikes again. Reminded me of why I don’t own an old English bike anymore (my first road bike was an AJS 500 twin - 55 model )
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger7 жыл бұрын
Wow - that would have been a great bike to experience. I imagine a lot like the BSA's and similar bikes from that era. I was around a lot of those bikes in my youth but didn't really start riding enough to truly appreciate them until more recently.

I love classic bikes, I sold my 75 sporty last year. I had it for like 10 yrs hardtailed springer front end, bobber style. I find myself missing it. It vibrated and rode like a lumber wagon but it was still so much fun!

Sounds like it was a lot of fun mate. I guess I miss all the bikes we've had - even the Kymco 125!!!

If available there... please do try the Royal Enfield Himalayan,the company's only formal no frills ADV bike ..no electronic aids ...a plain and simple ADV bike. And that vibrates way lesser than these ones. I owned a Himalayan back here in India,for 10months and can vouch for its supreme riding comfort and suspension.
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger7 жыл бұрын
Great advice mate, thank you - and it's good to hear it's less vibey. I remember your Himalayan, been wanting to ride one since I saw it - sadly there's no dealership near me but I'll be looking for an opportunity to ride one. All the best my friend.

Captain, it was a great day and I can't thank you enough for allowing me to ride the awesome "X". After riding many bikes it really is the nicest mid size adv bike in my opinion. They all have their pros and cons but the x seems like the best package...for me at least. But for now and until the bank balance supports the purchase I shall continue to receive massage after massage from the trusty Enfield...oh yes and chase that so far elusive orgasm....bahahahaha!

I'm really overly fussy about who rides my DRZ & have only let one person do so, but if it was somebody I trusted I'd let them have a go, especially if they were thinking of buying one....Also, if i get off for free by riding their vibrator on wheels in return, then it's aaaaallllll good baby! >_< Nicely done mate - B

Hey come ON! We got down to 19C the other day, actually turned the fans off for 5 minutes... Yeah, I'd talked to Andrew for quite a while on line over the years. Knowing a bit about him (ex emergency services, always commented on the side of safety, etc.) I was more than happy to let him have a go and very grateful that he let me ride the RE as well. Thanks my man, snuggle up to a warm fire with some moonshine is all I can advise ;-)

I considered buying one of those as a second bike, they are pretty cheap here on the used market, but I also read that they are vibey and that put me off. What did he think of the "X" then? RSMF
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger7 жыл бұрын
He was blown away by the X - he's taking his time, has tried a Strom and several other bikes but the value for money and reliability of the Honda will win I am sure. He's in the market for 2 (his Wife also has a RE and they're both swapping) and saving his pennies :) RSMF.

Only real 'ruffty tuffy' men should ride single cylinder 500s mate.... you're obviously going soft in your old age :) Obviously the EFI helped though......or your hands would have been numb before you felt any vibes through the foot pegs...that really is a distraction when your hand is so numb you can't feel the brake lever ! Your Winter looks terrible mate....I would feel some sympathy, but it's been raining in Blighty for at least a month none stop, and although it's supposed to be the end of Summer the thermometer has been as low as 8'-10'C .... TC&RSM8
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger7 жыл бұрын
Mate, I'm so tough I'm gonna get one with wheels shaped like 50p pieces :-P Ha ha - no you nailed it, gone soft in my old age... Somehow we'll get through this winter... i had 26 years in the UK and enjoyed all 26 weeks of actual summer, lol. Thanks man, TCRS too :)

You know Captain, I have only just realized I have only ever owned 'Singles' Two stroke and four stroke....I have ridden other stuff...but never bought one......just one thing, is the multiple orgasms an 'optional extra' only I can't seem to find it in the Honda catalogue? Captain Cranky...I've been watching all your great adventures on the tube. you should try my Enfield ,,,lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4W9q3aHeZyNbdWheanwhile I have been that impressed with your CB500X experience I have decided to actually buy a new 018 bike. New stock is due in on the 20/8 so next week I will be trying out my new ride.plus I am very impressed with the price. my 018 Enfield is the limited edition Pegasus model and they are AU$10K ride away. I scored the Honda for AU$8K sounds like to me a bargain buy.finally I think I may have bought a bike I can actually ride and not shaken ...and definitely stirred.Keep up the good work. Decided to go for the Red unit.Regards

LOL - is your Enfield any shakier than the one I rode? That's awesome, you'll love the bike, the price is amazing when compared to other ADV style bikes - even the ones that cost 3 times as much need all the added protection... apart from the AT (which I did love). I'll watch that vid mate, got quite a back-log!! Many thanks for watching, subbing and commenting, will be keen to see you on the bike in future vids - ride safe :)
