My first 2 helmets were Shark Vision-R and then Shark Explor-R - absolutely great helmets, I only changed because I crushed one - the bike fell on it when camping on Coolah Tops - rode with a broken helmet to Newcastle, where I bought an Airoh Commander which I really do like. The Sharks were very difficult to get a good sound on the microphone, and that's really the only thing I didn't like about them. Hey Captain, I don't know how else to message you. I've been lurking on the internet and have stumbled across front engine bolts shearing off and causing all sorts of problems, especially with Givi and Hepco & Becker crash bars. Did you encounter anything like this by chance? Thanks and nice seeing a video once in a while.
@CaptainCrankyMotovloggerАй бұрын
Hi - no never had a single problem with my bike and I've thrashed it through 129000Km, including many off-road drops. I have the Hepco & Becker engine guards, in fact they have some cracks after all the hits they've taken but the engine bolts are fine. Look closer at the reports of engine bolt problems and you'll probably find that the problems started when Honda started to change the bike (e.g. 19" front wheel) in 2019. Mine is a 2013 - they built the bike perfectly then, it's just about un-breakable. If only it had the 19" front wheel, it would be perfect!
@IndigoJoАй бұрын
How many water pumps has it had?
@CaptainCrankyMotovloggerАй бұрын
Just the one it came with - absolutely nothing has gone wrong with this bike! If you did your homework, you'd see that the water pump problem only came along with 2019 and later models - mine is the original 2013 - built better in almost every way, if only they had put the 19" front wheel on it back then...

I've already seen your 100 thousand kilometer video, but it's curious to know how much more you've done. Thank you for reading me.
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger2 ай бұрын
Since the 100000 video, I have made about 200 more videos, all the adventures can be seen in them! I have had no mechanical problems with the bike ever. @algorandom46552 ай бұрын
@CaptainCrankyMotovlogger that leaves a lot to say about the quality of these motorcycles, mine is going wonderfully, I only asked because if I see many comments on the internet that say that basically a motorcycle does not exceed 150 thousand km and I worry, in short, I will continue to take care of it. Luck on your next big trip!
