The Tutankhamun mask is the most famous archaeological piece that exists, and it’s not for less since both its materials and its history are incredible. It’s a 3300-year-old gold mask that was used to be placed on the head of the child pharaoh, Tutankhamun. In addition, it’s full of precious stones such as lapis lazuli, carnelian or turquoise. At present, the original Tutankhamun mask can be visited in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, although in the coming months it will be moved to the Great Egyptian Museum, next to the Pyramids of Giza. The mask used in this short documentary comes from the collection of Planeta de Agostini. This video is part of the collection of archaeological replicas that I am uploading to the channel. Thanks for being here and seeing me! I hope you like it.
