I got 2 new Zebra Pleco fish & it didn't go well! 😵‍💫

When adding territorial fish,it’s usually a good idea to rearrange the tank and add a lot of hard scape and plants. It makes the tank a “new” place for all the fish so the newcomers have a chance to claim a territory. I had to do that regularly with cichlids. I even kept a few large plastic plants that I would toss in when I got a new fish, for murder prevention. In a week or two, when everyone was settled and behaving I could slowly remove the plastic plants and put the tank back how I liked it.

aww, I feel you are way better at vlogging then you think you are. I really enjoy your videos. I definitely have fish envy...someday I will have the room for more tanks and will create shallow tanks like yours. Thank you for sharing, I get inspired watching your videos. I will also get some tank bred Bettas and Zebra Plecos someday too. ;-)

Oh my you have a dove too! I saw you many times with orchids which I also have many of, then surprise …. with these freshwater fish videos which I also have and now a white dove. I have a white king pigeon ! How funny the similarity of our hobbies .

The issue about some fish is they rather be alone or all put in the same tank at once because fish take their territory very seriously

I think Max might be a gurl! I think you have 1.2, so one little dude, two ladies - that's my best guess, but they are juvenile, so a bit of a wonky prognosis.

You know I thought about it too, only on the slender new guy do I notice those little odontodes, but now that someone else has the same suspicion I’m even more hopeful it’s the case! It is the best case scenario 😁 thanks for chiming in! 🧡

i know that you might probably figured this already given the video is one year old but still they are a little too small to sex and even if you sex them now they both look like males to me
