I really like your message behind the never grow up tattoo, I'm 33 years old and I do all the 'adult stuff' I am suppose too but I am constantly criticised for being 'childish' for having major obsessions for Disney, Taylor swift and BTS. I always get told I am to old to be in to all that and it will often bring me down and make me feel like I'm a weirdo.

Im full of tattoos and nearly run out of room now. I’m a retired barrister and I couldn’t have any of mine visible so my sleeve tattoos stopped just above my wrist. As soon as I retired I went crazy and got everywhere filled. Only spots left now are my hands and my breasts but have to wait until mastectomy scars settle xx (I’m addicted)

Preach 🙌! Everything you said is spot on. As a woman with tattoos myself, I've faced some "opinions" about my looks and how I'm perceived basically. This is your life, and you get only 1 try of it! Do it your way. Do the things that bring you joy, happiness, satisfaction. Side note, my back is tattooed, no "empty" space left :D and for my wedding I want a backless dress just to show my tattoo 😉 Wedding is your day, not someone else's. You celebrate the love you have with your partner, not the opinions of others :D

The lucozade thing is because tattoos, piercings and pain in general effects blood sugar levels and makes them drop. Sports drinks are designed to keep levels up. The flat lucozade (sport?) is better for it than the fizzy one. I always take lucozade and cookies or chocolate when i get mine done. By the way, if you ever get bigger tattoos with shading or colour, you need to overdo the sugar intake before, during and after. I’ve got loads of tattoos but the large shaded one on my thigh almost floored me after 4 hours in the chair and not enough sugar.

I feel you with what you said about keep enjoying what you did during your childhood/ early adulthood, particularly when it comes to being a fan. I could never imagine not being a Harry fan/directioner/ a fan of Little Mix or being obsessed with other singers like Taylor and going to concerts. That's just my happy place, and I don't understand how some people claim that's immature or crazy. There's a reason why artists like Harry or Taylor have so many fans, it's because they and their music mean something to each person.

Wow you’re right as a northerner I am surprised/shocked about the prices! I have a a lot or large pieces done and the biggest covers the inside of my right arm which includes colour and shading, it was only £350. Typical prices where I am is around £60-£80 per hour so what you had for around 2 house would be about half the price but I understand rents are waaaay more in London so makes sense they would be vastly more expensive 😂

ALWAYS TIP YOUR TATTOO ARTIST. ❤ Unless they own the shop most of the time a huge portion of the price goes to their chair price. ( rent ) or they pay 20-40% to the shop they work at. It’s also just common practice. You did a good job Soph. ❤ your heavily tattooed subscriber hahahaha

Love the new tattoos. Though, as an east midlander, ouch at the price 😳. I got a 6”x2” thigh/hip piece done by an amazing fineline artist the other week for £150 (though this was discounted as she was expanding her portfolio- think it should have been £225) 😂❤. Either way, very cute. Love Pinky’s ears ☺️

London prices really are crazy 😶 I’ve paid £600 so far for 7 hours total of sleeve work (much more to go though) 😶 And £160 for a large custom thigh piece 😶 I have other smaller ones that cost £50 and have soooo many more tattoos that I want to get done but my budget does not allow it right now haha! 🤣 I’ve told my partner if we ever get married my dress will depend on how complete my tattoo is, complete or close I’ll have arms out, if it’s not complete I’ll have it covered 🙈

I’m actually surprised people think 300 is expensive for 4 tattoos like a general hourly rate for most established artists is around 100 an hour and in bigger cities the hourly rates can go as high as 500/hr

I'm from London and I've only ever paid 300 or more when I got 4 tattoos done including a colourful back piece and detailed arm piece 😄 for this tiny 4 ones noo way 😂😂 I been going to my tattoo artist since was 19 and I'm 32 now 😂 She went to a known tattoo place that I think most known people went to (famous place 😅so be pricey ,people told her to go their.. did her dirty haha😅

Hand and finger tattoos don’t fade if done properly by a good artist. They should be hand poked. Anybody that says they fade and blur aren’t doing them correctly. You should never need a tattoo touching up or re doing

Sorry but £300 for 4 TINY tattoos is crazy expensive. I get it’s london prices but I think you’ve been massively ripped off. My artist charges me £70/hour (I’ve been using him since he was an apprentice) which is pretty cheap in the industry and im just outside of london. £90/hour is the usual rate for decent artists
