3D pixels are called “voxels” and there’s some really neat art done with them. Search “voxel art time lapse” if you want to see some cool stuff. Also if you want to do it digitally then magicavoxel is a great free program to use.

Gorilla glue, hot glue, etc. you can also do it by making an interlocking pattern and then you just pop the pieces together like putting together a puzzle. I’ve done it both those ways. I know people experiment with using the oven. But I haven’t tried it that way, and I feel like it would be pretty difficult to accomplish consistently with that method.

I actually own a qixels set. I got it for my birthday a few years ago. I’m pretty sure I used it once and made a chicken, I probably still have it lying around. Oh yeah they definitely weren’t that expensive when I got it, only around £18.

Fun fact: Upon doing quick research, reason for the discontinuation of Quixels is unknown but a very similar product called "Aqua Dots" were discontinued because they were highly toxic and seizure inducing. Then again, im not sure if this is the same thing but beads connected by water does sound familiar 🤔
